Great developer. Good communication. Adam observed our thread in Shopify Community and built an app for those of us infuriated by the Shopify assumption that the last shipping address is the customer's address. Thank you for a great app that works well for those of us who place a lot of orders in back-office admin on behalf of our customers.

I tried this app for free. I like it very much this App. I want to pay a one-time fee. Do I have to cancel my subscription once?

Thank you 🙏 Glad it's helpful for you 🤗. Yes, if you want to pay the one-time fee instead of the subscription, you'd uninstall the app, then reinstall it and choose the one-time fee option. Hope this helps!

Updated- This app is trying to solve for an obvious product bug (online comments about it date back to 2015 so shopify is obviously not interesting in fixing it) where the most recent shipping address changes the account "default" address, rendering that meaningless and screwing up our CRM and accounting data repeatedly for drop-ship customers. The app worked as advertised in the beginning but some complex customizations we developed presented conflicts that prevent the app from processing correctly via the API to our store. We had to uninstall it. While it wasn't a perfect solution (doesn't prevent the default from changing but does change it back quickly) we ended up developing our own private app solution utilizing Hubspot's "operations hub" to basically do the same thing this app was doing but it works around the code conflict we introduced to the equation. For a more simple store code ecosystem this app should do the trick. What we really need is for shopify to understand that "default" means it doesn't change every time a customer ships to a different address. There is simply no way to "lock" it like in every other ecommerce system.

Hello, I had responded to your email to try to help troubleshoot prior to you posting this review but have not received a response. The app’s latency of a few seconds (a Shopify platform limitation) is the same as it was when I released it, but it’s possible that Shopify did not send some record updates (Shopify has told developers that we can't always rely on getting notified automatically via their API, so we should perform periodic batch checks to see if any updated records were missed/not sent to the developer). So in some (historically rare) cases, records may not get updated until the app performs its hourly batch process. I agree that the mechanism of waiting for an order to change the address (and then the app changing it back to the original one) is less ideal than preventing the change from initially propagating. Unfortunately, this is not possible without an entire custom-coded checkout workflow, which most store owners don’t want. Hope this helps, and happy to help discuss further/troubleshoot. - Adam

Our customers were having trouble placing orders because the default address on thier account was defaulting to the last address they entered (usually thier customers address). The app does just the job by making sure our customers feault address is always showing when they come to place orders.
