It's hard to describe Nyla as just an "app", as it does so many different things for us. Nyla gives us all the advantages of headless for our website, with none of the downsides (having our cake and eating it too). We had heard so many nightmare stories of brands trying to go headless and spending $100,000 and 6 months building it, only to find it barely delivered on the promises. Nyla caught my attention when I ran into some brands at a conference talking about how they switched to headless in a matter of a couple weeks via a single app. I didn't think that was possible, but they put me in touch with the Nyla team and their founder Michael completely sold me on the dream. I was pretty darn skeptical that it would work as well as it did and that they could hit such aggressive timelines, but we managed to put up a headless version of our site and transfer over all existing systems / apps to Nyla in a matter of weeks for a tiny fraction of the cost it normally does to go headless. The speed gains are amazing. The fact that we have 100% control over every single design aspect of the site (the promise of headless we all want) is awesome. The ability to design mobile vs desktop optimized aspects of every single piece of the site has been really great to utilize. The fact that our marketing team can make drag and drop changes to the site has proven very useful. The SEO optimization built in is great. Overall, Nyla is an amazing feat of engineering from my standpoint. How they were able to make going headless as easy as installing an app, is pretty mind blowing. I'm very impressed with Michael and the Nyla team.
