After a few grueling days of working with the Ella theme and not being able to do a damn thing about a noticeable search icon/bar, I installed Omega Search. Solved ALL of my problems, and there are many optimizations that can be made, and analytics, too!!!! FYI: I am on the free plan, which is perfect if you have 500 products or less. Can't speak for the paid ones, but I'm sure they're great...

Awesome app. Plug an Play no coding required. Once we set up required parameters, the app is up and running. Only thing I am trying to adjust the search results page to fit the screen, currently it is shown very narrowly. Great work by the team.

Huge advantage or default Shopify search. Exactly what we needed. We have a tech site so we have product pages and support articles and needed a way for customers to easily separate search results accordingly, which this app does. Plus this allows you to give weight to different things like product title, so you can control how results are ranked to some degree, thus giving your visitors more relevant results. We are really glad we found this app!
