No accountability or ownership - DO NOT TRUST I use their deposit/preorder app on Shopify and when I had an issue with orders they ended up charging my customers a whopping $38,000 USD Months in advance !! I had to refund every cent to my customers but I was left with $965.50 in Shopify credit card fees and the app refuses to reimburse me anything even though it was clearly their fault.

Update: after more than a week of trying to make this app work for me the way I wanted it to, it wasn't to be. The support team was very responsive and willing, but after a couple of successes and a few more failures I had to draw the line as it was taking too much time to sort out issues with the app, and causing frustration for me and my customers. Has potential, but didn't work for my site I'm afraid. A couple of hiccups just after set up, but the Panda PreOrders team was straight onto it and sorted things out for me very quickly. I've tried a couple of other backorder apps with not much success. I did find one that I used for a while that was awesome but it became unavailable. Panda Preorders is almost as good and has a couple of additional features that I appreciate, so I am happy so far. And the price once you go past the free threshold seems very reasonable indeed, even for my very small business. I plan to update this review once a few backorders have come in.

I'm grateful that panda-preorder exists because it allows me to announce products. We have written a children's book, but we can't produce it yet because we can't afford the costs yet. This way you can present and publish the book. In addition, by ordering in advance you can see how much interest there is and therefore be more confident in taking on the risk of pre-financing. The app is easy to understand and use. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Ich bin dankbar, dass es panda-preorder gibt, weil ich damit Produkte ankündigen kann. Wir haben ein Kinderbuch geschrieben, aber können es noch nicht produzieren, weil wir die Kosten dafür noch nicht stemmen können. So kann man das Buch aber schon präsentieren und veröffentlichen. Außerdem kann man durch das Vorabbestellen sehen, wieviel Interesse besteht und sich somit eher trauen das Risiko der Vorfinanzierung zu tragen. Die App ist einfach zu verstehen und anzuwenden.

I've been searching for the perfect Shopify pre-order app for a while... and finally I think I may well have found one! Works right out of the box with an easy interface. Looks great on the front end too, and Shiv was able to make a tweak in the code to satisfy my OCD tendencies. All in all, highly recommended!

This app was really helpful to implement our website and the costumer care is super fast and available! We had some problems at first with the coming soon mode but it was resolved immidiatly. Really recomment.

Certainly the best pre-order app. I tested other pre-order apps, and Panda Pre-order was hassle-free and easy to configure and customize. It has the same functionalities as competitors and handles better customization when working on languages other than English. It has some minor things to be corrected. For example, the product picture badge doesn't appear on the product pages themselves, and I had to contact support to get the app working out. Support was quick and very effective to solve my issue, so no complaints there.

It doesn't mark the item as a pre-order on the customer's receipt or in your orders tab, so it's pretty useless. By the time the developer contacted me, over 10 hours passed and I had already installed an app that worked properly.

Great app for accepting pre-orders for out-of-stock products. Very easy to use. Support has been responsive and helpful with implementing custom designs. Hoping the app helps us increase our sales. Highly recommended!

Great app for pre-orders and for out of stock products. Before I had 2 apps one for pre-orders and one for out of stock notify feature. I love how this app has both in one. All the features are great and easy to use. The support team helped me right away and I really appreciate that.
