This app did not password protect the page. I tried multiple times, with no success. I sent an email to support and never heard back.

I installed and it locked my whole website not the page I'd added for wholesale, so I lost a whole days worth of sales and it also stopped the shop app from working - still not up and running even after uninstalling. Theres no contact information for the app, the website link is broken, there's no way to contact anyone. worst app, shouldn't even be allowed to be on the shopify platform.

This app works REALLY well. Recently our web team inadvertently caused a problem with the app. (The error had nothing to do with the app... it was merely the result of user error on our part). Developer responded quickly and effectively and our self-inflicted issue was all cleared up. In addition to the developer's quick assistance, I really appreciate his communication and politeness. If you need to password protect a page or pages on your store, this app, and the developer behind it, can work wonders for you. The app is totally solid and has never caused us any problems.
I uninstalled this app just two days ago after starting the 30-day free trial but due to limited features and a UI that wasn’t intuitive i uninstalled. Despite uninstalling, I was still charged for a full month. Shopify's policy states that uninstalling should trigger a data deletion request within 48 hours, yet my information was seemingly retained and used for billing. Be cautious—this experience raises concerns about how data and billing are handled after uninstalling.
This product page states there's a 30-day free trial. I installed the app and it says there's only a 1-day free trial. Very misleading...
Hi thanks for writing! I took a look, and you installed MagicPass in 2023 so there were no trial days left. When this happens we still offer a 1-day free trial, just in case you need to use our uninstall tools. Hope that makes sense, please feel free to reach out if there's anything I can help with!
