This sure was easy to use and at least according to its internal metrics did a lot to improve speed. It looks like its running faster when I check the page myself.

The very best app that we have found to speed up our website and minify settings. Use it with an AMP app and your website will load quickly.

The app is super simple to use. I always like super simple but the main issue for me was that it didn't really do anything for my store. I measured my site speed using a couple of tools before installing the app, and then measured again once the app had finished completing the optimizations and the needle hardly moved. The app developer reached out to me to say they will look into it to see if something custom can be done but this was taking time so I decided to delete the app as I didn't want to pay for something that didn't work. It is an expensive app at $50 CAD per month each month but I can get over the price if I get some quality results. But this wasn't the case for me. Maybe it will work for you.

I like this app but I think the price is a bit too expensive, this is the most expensive app I installed on my shopify. Other than the price, great app to speed up your site.
Hi! Thanks for the praise, it's great to hear you found Plug in Speed useful! On a budget I'd recommend starting with a good base theme and making sure you don't have too many apps installed. That doesn't cost you anything and gets you pretty far. You can also save money by manually optimizing your images using a tool like ImageOptim. After that it gets pretty technical. Even many competent developers are not speed experts. Your options then are to learn, hire a speed expert or use an app. We've invested heavily in making Plug in Speed deliver robust, tangible speed improvements that are applied automatically to any shop (not an easy engineering challenge!). We downloaded this app to help decrease our page load times. After running the Google mobile speed test our website was ranking slow which directly impacts search rankings. One of the tips the Google report recommended was optimizing our code and CSS files, along with optimizing images. This app does both so it seemed like a perfect solution! Right off the bat our page load times decreased and we were ranking higher than our competitors sites. This is a HUGE advantage for us and we owe it all to this app! Further, I contacted the support team later in the evening, not expecting a response until morning. Not only did they get back to me within minutes, they answered all of my questions right away! I could not be more impressed! I would give this team 10 stars if I could. Thanks for the assistance and for the great app, I would highly recommend trying it out!

I used the app to speed the site up as we were having loading issues. It worked a treat to optimise the images, and was very easy to use. Plus, i'd had a recurring issue with the site that was unrelated to why i'd downloaded the app, yet when i mentioned it to their support people they were so helpful. They went out of their way to give me a very in depth explanation as to what needed to be done to fix the issue which i went to my developer with. Very Very Happy

Works nicely this one is worth keeping if you want reduced speed, the team is very helpful,, if you like CBD products check us out @ WholesaleHenry.com for Hemp Tea, and you can even check our speed in SEO checkers to test this apps speed reduction.

I used this app to optimize our website so it would load faster. The support (Miranda) was great. She was very responsive. It did speed things up, but is still is on the sluggish side.

it won't work from its crap. i don't think would be work I don't recommend this After using this app i didn't getting any improve in page speed.
Hi Russell, Sorry to hear this. I see that you had the app installed for a very short amount of time and never got in touch us with any issues you encountered. This is where it gets quite weird. It seems your shop quickly opened and then closed down, the main email address shown on your shop doesn't exist, and you have connections to a Shopify app developer... GREAT app! id keep it but $39 a month is A LOT OF MONEY!!! Wish there was a wasy to keep it but a new site making no $$ cant do it!

This app is a miracle. It is everything they say they are. We have a video games store in UAE called http://www.yallagamers.com and we suffered from a slow site for some time. No one was able to achieve the speed we needed besides this app. it worth every $1. and will keep using it for sure. Thank you!

This app was not able to improve my website speed at all, but i had the results of the optimization before the end of the trial so i didn't loose any money. It may worth give it a try for someone else.

After the initial optimizations were run on our site it was only slightly faster, but with the follow-up support we got from the Plug in Speed staff we were able to work through some issues that really got our site humming!

This app got me from a 56 google speed rating to an 89 on desktop. If the speed is not where you want it once the automated part runs, you can email support and they will spend time working on your site until it's where it needs to be. This is a must-have app! If people have to wait at all for your site to load, they will move on. You can't make sales if no one is spending time on your store. Well worth the $$$. Thanks guys!

We tried this app to speed up our store. Installing the app was simple and required just a bit of time waiting while the Plug In Speed servers optimised the scripts and styling files contained on our site. Once installed, our page was working as expected without any glitches. However, we decided we don't need the app at this time and uninstalled it. Due to the limitations of the Shopify platform, some files/code was still remaining from the installation process. This is not a fault of Plug In Speed, however, as I have seen this happen with other apps as well. Daniel from the support team was quick and ready to help in cleaning up our installation, even though we weren't an active customer. Awesome service, I would recommend your app to other Shopify users and will remember you for the future!
