Price Parrot ‑ Price Matching

We have been using Price Parrot for about a month now, and honestly it has already made a big difference for us. What I like most is that it does more than just match competitor prices. You can actually set proper rules to protect your margins, which was really important for us. We did not want to get dragged into constant price wars. Being able to set minimum prices and control how aggressive we want to be gives a lot of confidence. The dashboard is also very clear and easy to understand. It is helpful to see competitor pricing and stock in one place instead of checking everything manually. It saves us a lot of time each week. Setup was smoother than expected and support has been quick to answer questions. After one month, it already feels like a tool we would not want to run the store without.

Price Parrot has my most sincere recommendation. At first we tried all the "popular" price match tools. We then, not being satisfied, tried all the "super expensive" price match tools. After discovering that the super expensive ones are the same as the cheaper and unsatisfactory tools, we continued our search. I found price parrot, opened up the app, and immediately it was evident that these guys KNOW what a business needs in a price match tool. And not only that, but the software itself is very fast, intuitive and the support team might just be the best I have experienced from any Shopify application - and I use quite a few. The tool itself: 5/5 stars Value for money 6/5 stars The support team: 7/5 stars. I am honestly very impressed. And in general, if you find yourself asking whether price match tools are worth it? Our company had the same question - especially management, "is it worth it", if this is you: The answer is a resounding yes. We have found products, using price parrot, that we haven't checked the pricing for many months being completely incorrect. We have found probably 50 products where our competitors undercut us by 1%, and thus ranked above us all the time on Google results. And if all that isn't enough, price parrot also serves as an "alert" system by almost imidiatly showing (and fixing if you have auto-rules on) gross pricing mistakes. And we are all just human, we do make pricing mistakes - but no longer with price parrot. This app is worth your time, and worth your money.

After having extensively tested various price matching solution (and previously having used a competitor), I ended up opting for Price Parrot. Our segment (knitting) is an extremely price sensitive business and competition is fierce over a wide spectrum of products. Ability to respond quickly with a pre-programmed response was a key factor, and the options and solutions offered by PP blew me away. Add to that an extremely responsive support and fast adaption to tricky price captures, this has proved a very wise choice. Competitor pricing apps are not cheap, but PP does not break the bank. Even for a store with a huge range of products with thin margins like ours. Probably one of my best investments this year as daily sales have already doubled.
