I downloaded this app, hoping to add a countdown on our out-of-stock products to inform our customers when the restocks would be. Unfortunately, the countdown doesn't work on out-of-stock products. The support got back to me super-fast to help when it wasn't showing up. I'm only choosing four stars because the functionality could be better and the fact that it doesn't work on out-of-stock products could have been communicated in the documentation somewhere (or somewhere more obvious, since I spent an hour trying to make it work and couldn't figure it out.)

Thanks for the feedback. The app is being used by over 5200 Shopify stores at the moment. Please note that we make use of an automated function to place the app once enabled in your store. On 98% of themes, that works immediately. Having a 100% coverage is not technically possible. As themes widely vary, in some cases a manual install is required. To support the manual install, we offer both a video and a text guide. The average manual setup time is 2:17 minutes. As per the app deletion - no worries, the app does not inject any code, it is safe to remove. Last note: I believe Urgency Bear is one of the few stock countdown apps in the app store which is entirely free to use. We provide it as a solution for merchants who do want to use its features and are willing to spend the time needed to set it up properly in their theme. We completely understand merchants are busy people as we are business owners ourselves. In case you're struggling with the manual setup, our team is always happy to set the app up for you - free of charge. To complete the integration with your theme, we sent you a collaborator access request - you will find it in your email inbox. Not good for colorblock theme app. Have to edit code and wont look good. A lot of hassle to add something that I thought would be so simple.

Urgency Bear uses an automated placement solution to work out of the box when enabling the app. As there are tens of thousands of possible theme combinations, it won't cover all cases. Thanks to Shopify Support they recommended the Urgency Bear Countdown Timer for one of our product launches and were glad they did. From downloading the app to asking a couple of questions to Customer Support and then getting back to us immediately the whole process took less than 24-hours. I own Ferocious Beard Company and each week our Ferocious Fans join me on Youtube and submit custom scents, and I choose 1 to make and put it on the site if it scores an A or B. I make them as limited scents and I use the quantity remaining to show people how many oils, balms & butters remain of that scent so it works perfectly for this concept. I wish that I could use multiple "instances" of this app to also use the countdown feature on other collections, but this is great for a single use function. 5 STARS for this one as it has helped me to streamline my operations.
Beautiful countdown timer with decent amount of customisations. The only thing I'd love to have is a rolling discount period set to X amount of days. Set the start time and after X days reset and start the countdown again.

I love this super cute, I installed this on my site today, easy to use and I like the colors it doesn't get in the way and the custom count down helps

Creators were quite responsive in helping work out the kinks. I do wish there were options for doing different inventory amounts for different products. Maybe something for the next version?
