We sell fabric by the yard and needed decimal stock quantities. Support enabled the decimal display mode — customers see '14.5 yards available' instead of '14 yards'. Accurate to what's actually on the bolt. Niche requirement that the app handles without any workaround needed.
Merged two locations after consolidating our retail footprint. Support walked me through the merge process that combines stock records while preserving the historical data from both. The merged location inherited the customer traffic data from both predecessors. Clean transition.
Channel-specific inventory reservation wasn't built in but support helped me configure a buffer system. I set aside 20% of each product's stock as 'online reserved', and the widget shows the remaining 80% as available for in-store. Not a true reservation but an effective approximation. They acknowledged the limitation while providing a workable solution.
POS stock updates were taking too long to reflect in GeoStock. Support tightened the webhook sync to near real-time — updates from our POS now appear in the widget within about 60 seconds. For a busy Saturday when stock moves fast, that responsiveness matters. They adjusted it without any downtime.
Drive time estimates weren't built in but support helped me integrate Google Maps distance data through a Custom snippet. Customers now see '12 min drive' next to each location. The store nearest by distance isn't always nearest by drive time, which is actually useful information. Support went beyond what the app does natively to Help me achieve what I needed.
