It's a good idea but the execution needs work. The load time (45 seconds) for the software is way too long for the average user and for several times that I tried it using Chrome browser, 75% of the time, the QR Code would not appear. I would only get an error code. Once I refreshed the screen, then the QR Code would finally appear. Trying to navigate the app itself is very quirkly in that you can not touch the phone screen with your ring finger and make any adjustments with the lines simultaneously. There's only a GIF on a loop to show you how to manage the sizing but it isn't very clear (no audio, no text). Once I got the lines in between my ring finger and I click on the check mark button to confirm the position, the final measurement appears. Unfortunately, the result of the measurement was incorrect by a very large margin of 4+ sizes. I'm a size 11 U.S. (male), and the size result it gave me was size 4 U.S.. I tired repeating the process 4 times got mixed results but nothing close to my actual ring size. I also tried it on my wife's ring finger, and again, her ring size didn't match and was off by 3+ sizes. Great idea but flawed execution.
Hi Lorena Young Jewelry, Thanks for the feedback. Sorry about your experience. I was upgrading our servers to provide better loading experience. It should be a lot faster now. I agree that the instructions could be clearer. Used a gif for it to load faster. I will find a better way to display the instruction. In terms of the inaccuracy of the measurement is quite surprising, I would love to understand more about the testing.
