The saying that you get what you pay for is certainly correct. After a dismal and failed experience of using the free QuickBooks integration App I started to look elsewhere and came across QuickBooks Bridge. What a completely different attitude to questions and problems (of my making). Mohit answered my tax on shipping question within 24 hours and was able to point me in the right direction to get settings changed in Shopify so that it feed their App the correct information. No more faffing around manually editing each order everything just slides straight into QB exactly as it should. Yes, there is a small fee to pay, but the amount of time and frustration this avoids is worth every penny. Thank you.

I started using QuickBooks Bridge by Parex a few weeks ago and have been really impressed so far. The support team has been amazing - they’ve helped me every step of the way with the implementation and made the whole process much smoother. I’m really glad a friend recommended this app to me.

Short version: This app is to the point, relatively simple, reasonably priced and customer service has been exemplary! My business is so small, and yet they made me feel like my issues were important to address in a timely manner. If the features offered by Parex Bridge match your needs, I highly recommend using the app. Long version: I had first started using this app after being dismayed that QuickBooks native app for Shopify wouldn't sync properly... Really?! Anyhow, after reading reviews for several different bridge app options, I realized this wasn't an uncommon thing, and that was why there were apps like Parex Bridge. I have a very small scale business with currently just 1 product for sale. The complexities come from sales channels (international, Shopify Collective, etc) and the desire to track shipping income, discounts, and so forth. I believe QuickBooks is now better at the latter, but still struggles. Anyhow, I initially hadn't realized I had poorly setup a few accounts on the app (despite Parex's excellent online resource to help you setup everything). After a few months of syncing, there were some numbers that were off. A hired bookkeeper actually made things worse and I had to go back to square one, actually needing to un-reconcile accounts going back to 2024!. That's when I finally contacted Parex for support (yep, should've done that first but I hadn't realized this was part of my issue). They helped me through every step of the way to identify what was wrong, going as far as changing some of the backend of their app to better match some odd situations I had with international shipping taxes, duties and Shopify collective credits and debits. They were actively addressing my concerts, keeping me up to date, including when there were delays, giving me realistic expectations, help me explain and select settings and actually fixing things. Yes, they actually had to adjust some stuff on their end, and they weren't shy about it, they just fixed it and we moved forward. This feels like a rare thing in today's world. I was very impressed throughout the process. Once we reached a point where all the settings seemed right and backend adjustments were made, I re-started reconciliation. I almost couldn't believe that the entirety of 2025 reconciled in 1 go! Up to that point, there were always some odd adjustments that needed to be made on a monthly basis (that was where the bookkeeper just created or adjusted journal entries to make end of months match bank accounts...). All that to say, I am very pleased and trust this app and their staff to make my accounting easier. And if there's a glitch, I have full confidence that I can reach out and get skillful help to solve whatever issue there might be. Highly recommended.
