Really good app. Saved me 10h of work, no joke! Things that would be nice to have: - option to edit alt text as well - Variant name integration on alt text (example: "red_...")
Thanks for your review! 😎 The ability to edit alt text has been added to the app since this review was written. This works alongside image renaming, or as a standalone feature. In terms of variant name integration, this is a common question, but tricky to implement since more than one variant may share the same featured image. On the "Rename Images" page, if you click the pencil icon next to an image, this brings up a modal where you can add custom text to filenames (also where you edit alt text). The naming pattern handles the base filename, then you can add "--red", etc, at the end to handle variants. Still a bit of work, but much faster than using spreadsheets, or navigating through images in the admin one by one.
