BEWARE! Their payment information makes it look like you pay for what you use, but if you don't uninstall the app they will keep charging you that every month (in my case for years). Even after other negtive reviews here they haven't changed their payment information to reflect how it actually works.

Brilliant. Saved hours of manual work! Main reason for using was to convert thousands of images to squares so that they all display in a uniformed way. Easy & Simple to use. The other features are a great bonus that we've made use of too to lower image file sizes and do some low effort SEO. All images modified have come out looking great with no issues at all. Would happily recommend to anyone considering this. Just give the free trial a go an see for yourself. I realise this may sound like a fake review as it's so positive, but I genuinely am this happy with the app. Update - Been using for 9 months and still just as happy.

I used this app to help me square up all my images on my site, I also compressed all the images, which made them unusable on the website. I then restored the images. I updated some product photos, ensuring that everything that was changed was square. The app indicated that these images are not square. As a result of the app not indicating if the images are square, you will end up paying for more actions and get bumped up to the top pricing tier for this app.

After years of suffering from slow site with uncompressed pictures and having each image of products different size and shape, the app did exactly what it is supposed to do!

Renamed image files with terrible, random numbers, even when I specifically instructed the app not to rename files. When I tried to restore, it did not restore images to their original form (the file name did not change back and the square background color was still there). You should definitely use a different product. Support contacted me and tried to fix the situation, but they made it even worse. Now my pictures are all blurry, the alt tags have been removed, and the file names are terrible. I need to redo everything from scratch. Stay away from this app! Complete garbage!

I have used this app for a few years to resize, square and optimize over 3000 Product images and it has performed without a hick-up the entire duration. I highly recomend that anyone wanting Image compression and resising This is the app to use!! Franz - AbsoluteSkin.

PRO- If you have a lot of photos to resize, This is a good app to use. CONS-It does not automatically recognize new photos, from a newly listed item, to resize. You have to manually search for the new listing and manually have it resized. There also isn't a way to sort items from new to old or vise versa, which makes it hard to find a new listing. For the amount of money paid for this app, it should have these important features, especially is someone's store has 500+ items for sale.

A great tool to reduce your images size. It compressed all the images in one go but sadly all the alt descriptions for images were gone meaning that you have to enter them again...

Fantastic App! I am giving 5 stars because it does the job. Take note: some of the images were replaced with random images like a mug or cell phone cover and had to be redone. 5 stars for the app, but I suggest a quick double check to make sure if any have been changed out and need to be reverted and re-compressed.

Very easy to use. Love how quickly I can optimize all our images with no quality loss. Saved me so much time than using a website online, saving all the images and then reuploading to our website. SEO Photo Optimizer has been a time saver.

Already this app is amazing. It was honestly a little glitchy last night (the app wouldn't load, but kept taking me back to the "get" description page. But sometimes I take things like that as a sign to go to bed already...(it was pretty late ;) So this afternoon I went to try again, and she loaded right up and is now in process of optimizing 2000 photos. Pretty sweet!
