ShieldKit: Google Merchant Fix helps ecommerce merchants quickly identify and resolve issues that led to Google Merchant Center suspensions. The app offers a 12-point scan to detect missing policies, broken links, and contact issues, providing step-by-step fix instructions. Additionally, the paid plan includes AI-generated policies, a GMC appeal letter generator, product data fixes, unlimited rescans, and AI-search visibility to ensure compliance and improve searchability. Installed the app and ran a scan. It showed issues and general instructions to fix, but the instructions were not consistent with Shopify and some of the issues like missing payment icons is incorrect bc I clearly have payment method icons on my Homepage. I’ll have to keep searching for a better app to help with my Google Merchant account. Disappointed because I really was hoping this would help, but if the free plan doesn’t work I am definitely not paying for another plan.
Easy to install. Easy to do a scan. It could not find the policies that we thought we had in place, so the question becomes, can we trust Google to read them? Instead of guessing this tool allows us to pass tests. Very happy. Considering upgrading to paid version.
