Shogard: Security IP Bot Block

So far so good. Vik has been great at helping with fine tuning this app and is very responsive. So many bots, so little time, this seems to be doing a good job.

I installed Trusted Security to block bot and country traffic (especially from China and Hong Kong) that was inflating my analytics. Despite every setting being enabled, the app never actually blocked access. I confirmed my theme supports Shopify 2.0 app embeds, toggles were active, and the rules were set to “Block,” but visitors from restricted countries could still access my store freely. Used VPN to confirm. If your goal is genuine bot or country blocking, this app doesn’t deliver. I eventually uninstalled.

I am a new user of this app out of necessity to keep my work and site safe. Vik was great to chat with to fine tune my installation. I am looking forward to seeing good results for my site by using TS Security & Country IP block. Thank you Vik - your time and help is much appreciated.

I tried three different "Built for Shopify" apps for website security before I settled on using TS Security. I had a lot of questions about implementing the various security measures, as I didn't want to create a bad "Customer Experience" on my website. TS Security (and especially Vik) took the time to offer suggestions and advice that none of the other security apps would take the time to do. As I continue to build my website, I know that TS Security has my back, and I can trust them for advice and assistance in securing what I have achieved.
