I'm not normally one to write reviews...anyone involved in launching or managing an e-commerce platform appreciates the limited time available. In this case, it feels warranted. When we set out to re-brand our our company and e-commerce channels we had to weigh the route of ASP.Net, Magento, or something which would be more plug and play such as Shopify. During this time of planning we spent countless hours researching the mechanism and possible solutions which would provide virtually limitless filter options and organization for over 7,000 products. In our opinion, if we couldn't nail this functionality it would be a deal breaker to move forward with Shopify. Luckily we found Brad and Power Tools. This application does exactly as advertised and is quite powerful. It will allow you to provide filtering and collection updates which has pretty much become the norm of customer expectation when shopping online. It does much more, but this alone is worth the price of admission. The application really gives you the flexibility to filter into collections, color, size, lifestyle, and any other attribute you can come up with to guide your customer through the store. More importantly, and my reason for writing this review, is the professional level of support that Brad and his team provide. I have never waited more than 24 hours to get a response, and normally that response already includes the fix we were in search of to move forward. Time is our most precious asset and I'm happy to confirm that Brad doesn't waste it...or your money. That said, the software is does have a learning curve if you want to create deep levels of filtering as we do. My recommendation would be to take a look at the app and allocate a few hours of Brad's time to help you implement this powerful tool exactly to the specification that best serve your customer. This will save you time and money, while allowing you to get immediate benefits. If you have over 100 products, this app is a must have for your store. We track GA and see how many of our customer engage the filter options. Furthermore, we have seen a 300% increase in our business since the launch of our new website in December 2016, Our company has been online since 2004, so we didn't take the decision to go with Shopify lightly. Rather, it was because of Brad and his operation that we did go this route. Thank you Brad for being a tremendous help along the way and our team appreciates the integrity and value provided. Absolutely worth it. I literally use this app any time I am updating our website. The filter menu is in my opinion the best option for sorting products using SHopify. The smart delete function I use all the time - it is invaluable. The bulk edit tags has saved HOURS upon hours of time editing products for the filter menu. A customer literally every day thanks us for making our website so easy to browse. This app is 100% WORTH IT.

This app is absolutely a must have for every large store! I would never migrate from Magento to Shopify without the Shopify Power Tools. It brings me an amazing filter menu and some other great features like the Trending Sort Order. I had some questions about the app settings but the support was just perfect - Brad replies within an hour or two and even on Sunday.

Recently did a series of qualitative interviews with our customers, and the number one complaint was that we had TOO many great products, that they were unable to decide one something they wanted. We somehow needed to offer them the ability to narrow down their choices. Looked at all the available apps on the market, and decided to go with shopify power tools, because it is the best looking one. Easy to install, and super friendly and efficient support. Highly recommended apps, as it now makes us look like the professional ecommerce platform we are :)

Possibly one of the best apps in terms of functionality. You can see it in use on http://global.amantelingerie.com/ It was rather complicated to install as they did not have an integration method for the theme used (ICON). However, with a little bit of help from my IT team we were able to install it without much trouble. Not the greatest backend interface, but works brilliantly. Probably one of the BEST apps we have installed so far. Thanks so much!

This is a fantastic suite of tools. It overcame a challenging coding issue by creating a stable filtered nav list. This has made the presentation of our site much cleaner and much more functional and although early going, there has been a noticeable improvement in traffic session times. I definitely recommend it!

We installed the Power Tools Suite to improve the navigation/ filtering capabilities of our theme. We have a large number of jewellery items for sale, and we think this app makes shopping so much easier for customers to home in to what they are looking for. I had some trouble with the install initially so we paid for Brad to install the app. This he did very quickly, thereafter he was very responsive and easy to work with. The app works very well. This is a must if you have lots of products. Thanks to the Filter Menu (which is part of the Power Tool Suite), we were able to create filters that make sense to our customers to help them find the products they are looking for. The filter menu has transformed our store and made it look much more professional. The Suite also includes other apps that complement the Filter Menu. Highly recommended! Definitely a huge time saver. I usually don't enjoy paying for monthly recurring apps but Power Tools automates so many things that it makes shop keeping much easier. The faceting is the core feature, but the rest of the features make this worth the money.

We've had this application installed since January 8th of 2015. It is truly fantastic. We were really looking forward to seeing how our customers enjoy the superior shopping experience we can offer them with the Filter Menu application installed, because we simply couldn't imagine this change being anything but a sales-increaser. Well, I can now say that this app's performance on our site not only looks great, but I can also flat-out say our store is making more money because of it. Caveat: We were not able to install or configure the application on our own. We paid for the full installation ($150) versus doing it ourselves (free) or having a basic install ($50) which I think is sufficient for most stores that don't use tags as extensively as we do for products. Through the process, I'd say three of our team had about 45 hours combined in working to come up with the strategy to most effectively use the Filter Menu and other features of PowerToolsSuite, avoid mistakes that could cause our collections to become messy, and to communicate our needs and desires via emails to the app developer. Yes, a few issues came up during the install process, and 90+% of them were dealt with very promptly and to the best of our developer Brad's ability without any request for more money. We expect to be customers of this app for a long time to come. Update February 2017: still happy customers, thanks to Brad and FilterMenu! Yes, there are other pieces to the PowerTools suite of apps but we don't really know how to use them or what they do. However, Filter Menu we do use and it is an integral part of our product merchandising strategy. Love it!
