I've only been using the app for a short time, but so far, so good!! It provides an easy solution for tracking costs - a definite must-have!

We love this app. We've been using it for a long time now and it's terrific. We can see our total stock on hand by cost and our margin. Plus we can get reports that show our profitability by supplier. There's more, I could go on and on. If you want reports based around your cost price then get this app. It is wonderful value for money.

This app is a must, it helps to fill the gap of a missing piece of standard Shopify. You certainly need this app if you want to calculate your actual profit. Fast, stable, it does what you need.

It's fairly straight forward to use, and it does what it promises. For 5 dollars it offers a lot of value for money, I think that most apps overcharge you on Shopify, this one doesn't really.

Shopify doesn't have the ability to track the original cost of your items. This is a Must to have.!

I highly recommend adding this app to your shopify store. Shopify does not have the necessary ability to track COGS. This is a must!

A nice and comprehensive app to track your cost of goods and make reports on your profits, which is of course very useful. It does calculate the cost of goods automatically based on the prices you set BUT you can always input the cost of an order manually.

This app is so easy to use, and has helped us tremendously to track COGS. There are some features/reports I have yet to utilize, but so far it's doing exactly what I need it to. Very satisfied with this app.

I found it quite frustrating to discover that Shopify doesn't support cost pricing as a feature out the box. I also found it hard to find an app that addresses this without having to pay for lots of unnecessary features on top. Simply cost does what it says on tin and has proved to be a simple but effective tool for managing COGS and a keeping track of our profit margin. One feature I would like to see in the future is automated reports- particularly so I can report the total cost value of our stock on a monthly basis :)

Great cost app. Sam is awesome, always quick to respond any time I have a question or have a suggestion. The app is easy to use, and easy to find information I need quickly. Highly recommend it!

Really useful app. Highly recommended. If you're a UK seller, note that you have to apply shipping tax in your Shopify settings, rather than in the app itself - had us confused to begin with. Now that it's fully set up it works perfectly. Definitely worth spending the time to set this up and manage it correctly. Saves a lot of time in the long run. As with any COGS / Profit calculations, the quality of the output is determined by the effort and accuracy you put in.

Very useful app to see if you are actually making money on your orders after shipping and transaction costs. The app also shows the total cost of all your inventory and the potential profit on it. The app is very affordable for people like me living in a country with a crappy exchange rate where a dollar costs me almost R15... Thank you for not ripping off the little guys in Africa like Shopify and some of the other Shopify apps.

I used to write my own spreadsheets to work out all the COGs, Profit Margins, Inventory Stock Value (running) etc., but this software does it all plus so much more. I use this software every day. Completely worth every penny (and more). The best app l have ever installed into Shopify. Love it. Very happy. Thank you. You guys, you rock! FAO SimplyCost... Developers, something to think about - any chance of being able to print out the reports directly from Shopify as they appear on the screen? This would be super helpful when preparing work to pass onto the account :) Also if, in the future, if you are looking for little tweak ideas, it would be groovy to be able to sort information by clicking on the column headings from within Shopify for all of the report sections. Neither of these ideas are essential, as you can do these things easily enough by exporting the Excel file, but it would save a step or two and would just be the cherry on top of an already delicious cake.

No complaints here at all. So easy to use and worth its weight. This app is big for us for inventory Cost of Goods Sold. Do not need it everyday but when I do all my inventory cost is available with a click. Love it!
