Luminara Jewelry review for Snapshot: AI Product Photos

I downloaded this app a few days ago and got the free trial version. I also downloaded a similar app from a competitor. This app gives you 20 free credits, and it's per generation (includes 4 images). So Snapshot gives you 80 free images. In the other app, the 20 free credits were per image, which ran out much quicker. I also like that you can do custom background generation with the free credits, which I used for my jewelry products. The available presets are not suitable for jewelry products. The pros of using Snapshot: - 80 free images - Free custom background generation based on your prompts - Good quality images if your promts are good - High rate of good images per generation if your prompt is good and your product photo is easy for the ai to interpret (it can be as high as 100%) - The ai creates correct backgrounds and places objects at correct angles, and it even generates shadows from the objects based on their shapes - You can edit the area that ai will include in the image generation. Once it only included the main stone on a ring, excluding the metal ring. I edited that in, doing a pretty rough job, and it still rendered it beautifully, adding realistic shadows and all. This only works half the time, however, but is still impressive. Things Snapshot can still work on: - It's hard for the ai to work with jewelry items that have intricate detail such as chains - The ai is confused about bracelets, necklaces, and other large circular objects - It does not understand particular background types that are best for jewelry props such as dark backgrounds or natural stones - It does not understand particular natural mineral specimens. If I type in prompt a specific mineral specimen, it gives me the wrong rock - The ai does not understand how pedestals work and how to place jewelry items on them - It would be great if we could generate new images based on a successful image, kinda like MidJourney vary command - The UI can be improved. The product selection tool is pretty hard to use, and the generation page needs polish. - I would absolutely love a function that could let me pick a successfully generated background on one product and apply it to multiple products - The instructions on which photos are better to use and how to use prompts could be more easily accessible and easier to understand Given all of these areas to work on, I will still get the pro version, because even right now it works great for certain products. I will save a lot of money on product photography. The success rate with challenging products is lower, but I can still pick a few good ones while playing with the prompts.
