SOLDOUT SORT

SOLDOUT SORT is a Shopify app designed for Japanese stores that automates sold-out product handling by moving out-of-stock items to the end of collections or hiding them entirely, then restoring them when inventory returns. It supports both Japanese and English, allows store-wide or per-collection rules, and reacts to inventory changes by sorting, hiding, and reinstating products on restock. The app also recreates newest/oldest ordering when collections switch to manual sorting, and store-wide hiding takes priority over collection-level rules while keeping direct URLs accessible.
