We’re sorry to hear that our app didn’t meet your expectations, I've emailed you personally to help explain how we can help you stock take and what sets us apart. What makes us different to Stocky: We aim to provide the simplest and easiest stock taking experience on Shopify, unlike Stocky we integrate with Shopify POS and allow you to conduct stock takes on your mobile POS devices without having to be attached to a laptop for scanning. This provides greater flexibility and an experience optimised for mobile and your in store teams. We focus solely on stock taking and aim to make that as easy as possible for you and your teams. We've achieved Shopify Built for Shopify badge which they use to show apps of the highest experience, which is what we aim to provide. We have powerful reporting capabilities, allowing you to report & export on your current stock levels, easily find missing items and compare your stock take counts to your current stock levels. To help with auditing purposes you can also export all the individual scans, including device and staff information, and all your adjustment history for as long as you have used the app. Longer than the usual 90 days that Shopify provides. These reports aim to make it easier to see where your stock position is at and get a quicker and easier understanding of this than Stocky. We've had feedback that this has saved hours of time for people compared with their old processes. We have the ability when you action the stock take, to process it in a number of ways. You can Add the stock, for example if you are processing inbound stock to your store. Remove the stock if you are processing out damaged or faulty goods, and Set the stock level for example when cycle counting or stock taking only specific sections and stock the stock level and zero quantities not scanned, for full annual stock takes which gives you more flexibility on how you want to run your stock takes, and all this is audited so no need to manually zero stock levels in Shopify. We provide controls for how you run your stock take, whether your teams can manage the stock take on POS allowing for edits and store managers to run them independently. You also can control what the scanning experience is like, if each item needs to be confirmed, if you allow for manual number entry or automatically scanning. Allowing your teams to run stock takes the way that works best for you and them. You get support from myself when using the app, so I'm here to help if you need any different features or any changes outside the usual processes. I've helped stores conduct thousands of stock takes and scan millions of items, so have the experience to help you and your business 🙂 Stocky is owned and operated by Shopify. This means they can offer it for free as they make their money from charging businesses to use the rest of their platform. I'm an independent developer so this is my livelihood, which as a fellow business owner I'm sure you understand, that I need to charge for my app to make a living.
