Synorai EcoCharge is a Shopify App designed to help Canadian electronics retailers stay compliant with provincial environmental handling fees (EHF) by automatically adding the fees to the cart. The app covers all nine provinces with a regulated program, ensuring that the rates are verified against official schedules. Users can tag products once and the correct fee will apply automatically in the cart, even with quantity changes and correct tax calculations. Additionally, the app offers a one-tap solution on the POS tile for in-store transactions. However, there are not enough reviews to analyze at the moment.

Awesome app! It's been a huge challenge trying to figure out a solution for charging Electronic Handling Fees through Shopify, especially given that they vary from province to province in Canada. This app solved that issue perfectly and avoided the problem of customers being able to remove the fee from their cart (an obstacle that made solving the fee issue much more difficult).
