TrueMetrics is an app designed to address the issue of bot traffic affecting ecommerce merchants. It offers a solution to prevent Klaviyo from emailing fake profiles generated by bots, helping to maintain accurate conversion rates and email flows. The app uses a rule engine to score every storefront session and provides clear reasons for its decisions, such as suppressing bot-generated profiles in Klaviyo to ensure abandoned cart emails are sent only to real customers. Additionally, TrueMetrics allows for the export of bot-flagged checkouts as a Meta exclusion audience and provides weekly reports on bots detected, emails prevented, and the true conversion rate.
