We have been using the Variant Robot app to group our color variants across our webshops, and it has been a great solution for us. Works as expected, and when it doesn't, the support is quick to jump into action and fix it or help however they can. Doesn't support selecting multiple variants within one product (size | color | length) but it was still the best option we could find.
