Happy with this app and is exactly what we wanted as sell lots of items with colour variants We use Out of Sandbox Turbo and had to pay an additional $50 fee for them to get it to work but this was done quicklly within a few hours and the app is so simple to use.

I use this app to cut down the number of variant photos for each product, as well as put the photos in the exact order I want. Works very well so far. I recently had some questions about an issue I was having with my product photos. Support went in and personally fixed the issue even though it didnt have anything to do with the app! Excellent customer service

Unfortunately this app did not work. I have tried to fix it and played with it for 3 4 hours but still was not able to get it to work.

can not contact customer support. App was not functioning. What a joke. If they can get teh app to function and get their support line to work that would be nice.

We have used this app for quite a while now and it works great. It is perfect for handling all the various thumbnail images that go with each color of our different products. We have used it on two themes so far. Whenever we have needed support they were very helpful and responsive. We highly recommend this app.

VIP has an easy drag and drop interface for easy setup and works exactly how it's described (just follow the directions y'all). We recently upgraded to a premium theme and the Eshop Guide support team went above and beyond to help us get the app setup. Overall great app with a support team that will stand behind it! *Edit* 5 years since our original review - we still stand behind this company. The Variant Image Penguin app is affordable, with unmatched customer service to back it. Still highly recommend it!

The plugin works exactly as described and you SHOULD AVOID IT. It loads the images for each variant on the initial page load, this means every image gets loaded. So your page size will be the size of every image variant regardless of if the customer selects an option or not. If you're like me and were planning on using different images for size and color variants then you will end up with a page 10mb in size that loads very slow. Also because of the speed you will run into issues on the initial page load with other odd images showing. The only solution I found was to switch to lemonstand.

Great App. Easy to use and does evrything you'll need regarding variant iamges. The support team is awesome. They fixed any of the issues I faced. It's a rare quality and definitly worth trusting them. Five stars Guys !

Had some trouble getting it working, but their support was very helpful and got it up and running right away. Does exactly what we need it to, and really helps with making the product pages nice and clean. If this is what you're looking for, it seems to be the best option out there.

Good app that can do what I want. However, I've never had any luck setting it up myself, and I have good computer knowledge and basic coding skills. Mandeep did the backend set up for me, but I'd like to be able to do it myself. For this reason, I give it 3 stars. If the set up could be done without help, I would give it 5.

Fairly good. Does exactly what you'd want and helps you assign images to product variants. Some features like 'Hover to Zoom' won't work because the zoom will pick up photos being hidden but, we just turned that feature in our theme customization off and it's made our website look a lot nicer and hopefully more user friendly.

Not only did the app's performance exceed my expectations, but the customer service provided was extraordinary. After having difficulty with the setup, Mangita was able to install the app properly for me at no extra cost. My site looks much more professional and user-friendly. Our product page went from crazy messy to nice, tidy and clean!! This app does exactly what it supposed to do. Assigning images is straight forward. The technical support is responsive and very helpful, thank you :)

We must agree with all previous positive reviews of this app and David. When we tried to install this, we had problems because the theme our website is based on (Yourstore) is not from the Shopify theme store. We also heavily customized it with custom code and other Shopify apps. We contacted the Variant Image Penguin folks, and within I think a day, the app was installed and working. As we continuously improve our graphical user interface, not having a dozen images on our product page is making our design job easier. Thanks Dave.

There are 2 reasons I am giving this app 5 stars: 1. This app itself is concise, easy to use, and does what it does 2. The amount of support I received upon encountering problems is incredible. First, there is a website that guides users who had problems using the app(very informative and comprehensive). Second, Dave was tremendously helpful when I emailed my problems to him. He responded quickly and it was heart-warming to see him go the extra mile to write codes for me to help make the app more compatible on mobile platforms. Thanks Dave! I'm sure many users here got to benefit from this app. Do give it a try!

Dave went above and beyond for me after I couldn't get VIP to work with my new theme that I bought. He could have easily just said "sorry it is not going to work" but he created a new product template for me and now I am good to go. That is true customer service. Thanks Dave and VIP team.

Dave is a beast. He really went above and beyond to make this work on my theme (Launch). Can't say enough about him and his app. works great, great level of support. I try to use this app with all my client sites. Very very happy that this exists in the shopify app store.
