VAT Guard is a Shopify App designed to help ecommerce merchants with EU VAT and OSS reports by country. It allows users to track their EU sales by destination country, sum up the taxable base and VAT collected for each quarter, and monitor their cross-border total against the €10,000 union threshold. The app also flags countries where collected VAT is below the standard rate and enables users to export the figures as a CSV for their accountants. VAT Guard is advisory only and does not file or pay anything on behalf of the users.
