I absolutely love this app! It has made editing and updating my items SO much easier!!! What used to take hours and days, since I have such a large inventory, now takes minutes! I have used this app on another platform and was so relieved to see that they are now on Shopify too! Great customer service too...they answer questions almost immediately and have truly wonderful communication and assistance with any questions you may have. Highly recommend! This app is amazing! I have used their Etsy version for a while and am so glad they have it for Shopify now too! This app saves me so much time that I would be willing to pay for it! The app is very extensive and you want to pay attention when you are setting things up to not override your info you don't want to change. The profiles options help with being able to do similar updates super easy. I have a few different sets of products that I have to update with different info and the profiles makes it easy to make these quick changes without having to program the settings in each time. Pretty much anything you would want to update on your shop you can do a lot quicker and more efficient with this app. I am in the process of moving my website to Shopify and this app made moving around 900 listings with each one having 98 variations easy to do in a few hours instead of months. I have had to reach out for help with various things and Justin is super responsive and answers pretty much any time of the day and has always taken care of my issues or answered my questions completely. I cannot say enough good things about this app!

I have been using Vela for my Etsy store for over a year and have always loved how easy it has been to update product descriptions and various variants and prices. When Shopify started to add the Vela app I was ecstatic. The app works just as expected and has been a huge time saver when it comes to bulk editing, without glitches and fast. I moved to Shopify from magento where I was used to being able to edit products easily, I was SO worried I wouldn't find something similar but then I found Vela. It's has made editing products SO much easier then one by one. Super easy to get started, and they support is Excellent.

This app has saved me hundreds and hundreds of hours of work. I absolutely love it. Takes a little bit to work it all out, but if you have any questions to Vela team reply very quickly through their in-app chat.

Oh my goodness!! This app is awesome and saves me a ton of time!!! I used another app and it was no where as good as this!! I recommend everyone to take advantage of this app AND it is FREE! The other app was $14.99/month and small businesses just cannot afford that!! Justin was very helpful and answered my question promptly!!

WAY better than Bulk Editor and SUPER easy to use with the ability to create a Variation profile quickly and then apply it to any and all products you need. Drag and drop functionality. Just saved me a full day of work all in 5 min! Plus great support on chat!

I installed this app because, at the time, my email was down so I couldn't bulk download products in spreadsheet form and re-upload it to make mass changes. In summary, this app does everything right, but it's too slow. This app is free, so I give it a pass. But if it was paid, I would ask for a refund. The interface is solid. It couldn't be more straightforward. The design is great and you can edit everything you would ever need to edit en mass. However, there is a huge drawback. This app took nearly an entire day to make a simple price change on my products. Granted, it was 5400+ products, but still... If my email were not down at the time, I could have downloaded a spreadsheet of my products from Shopify, made the changes in excel, and re-uploaded it all within 15 minutes. I have no Shopify app dev knowledge so I don't know if it is their fault how slow it is. And I can see how an app might have a ton of limitations when compared to a native bulk CSV upload. So devs, if you're reading this, I am not blaming you. At the end of the day, it is a good app to have. Especially because it is free. But if you are thinking about installing this, ask yourself a few questions: 1. Do you understand how to make bulk edits with CSV files? If so, and you have access to it, you don't really need to install this. But if that is you, you already know that. On the other hand, if spreadsheets intimidate you, install this app. 2. Do you have time to spare? Is it okay if the edits aren't published for a few hours? If so, use this app. If time is of the essence, don't bother. Make CSV edits. 3. Do you need something to make simple, non-essential changes without messing with CSV files and potentially making a mistake? Definitely download this app. It's a great app. And it's free. It's just slow. Despite the speed issues, I will keep this app. I don't like making edits to bulky CSV files for minor, inconvenient changes. I will continue to use this app for that single purpose. However, if the changes I need to make need to happen quickly, CSV it is.

This app is an amazing time saver. I use it for my Shopify Store and for my 4 Etsy Stores. I constantly use this app to bulk change and edit over 4,000 listings in my stores, from titles, descriptions, images and so forth. Customer Service is also very important, and Justin is super responsive whenever the need arises. There are always new features in the works, and if there is anything that it doesn't have, that you need, just ask Justin and there is a good chance that it is either being worked on, or he will let you know if it is something they can add!

This app ROCKS!!!!!!!!! It is by far the best bulk editor on here. I had a questions and got an answer from the tech support in less than 2 mins at 11:00pm. The speed of the app and the ability to sync across platforms not only decreased my time put also allowed me to see errors (Typos) real easy.

I've been using the vela app for etsy for a few months now and let me say, that it has been a HUGE timesaver! So with our shopify site, I'd been neglecting doing updates bc Shopify really isn't very accommodating with making this an easy task. So I decided to search the app store for an inventory management app (hoping to find something like Vela) and sure enough, Vela came up! I was very excited for this and am thrilled to share my transparently honest review that Vela has been nothing short of perfect for our business. Thanks Vela!!

This app is great. It greatly enhances shopify's native listing ability by adding important editing options. Just try it and you will see how much of a time saver it really is. You won't go back!!!

I use Vela with both my Shopify website and Etsy shop to make edits to large numbers of products in bulk - changing photos, descriptions, variations, etc. I'm constantly making little adjustments to improve my stores, and thanks to Vela, work that would normally take hours takes seconds instead! It's an extremely well-designed app with ridiculously amazing support. I also do quite a bit of consulting for other ecommerce business owners, and Vela is always one of the first tools I recommend. Honestly, if you have a store on Shopify or Etsy and you're NOT using Vela, you're probably wasting a lot of time.
