VideoPoint — Fashion AI Videos
The reviews for the VideoPoint Shopify App are overwhelmingly positive, with users praising its ease of use, ability to generate high-quality videos quickly, and seamless integration with Shopify stores. Users appreciate the AI features that allow them to create engaging videos from product images and the shoppable video widgets that enhance customer engagement and conversion rates. The app's ability to streamline the video creation process, from script generation to final video output, is highlighted as a major benefit. Additionally, the personalized support and hands-on onboarding provided by the VideoPoint team have been commended by users. However, some users mentioned minor flaws or areas for improvement, such as occasional failed video generation attempts and the need for further customization options. Overall, VideoPoint is recommended for ecommerce merchants looking to enhance their store with interactive and conversion-focused video content.
We wanted real video on our product pages instead of leaning on static photos. They built us custom demo pages — a video landing page and a stories-style carousel — so we could see it on our own products before committing. Every time I flagged a bug or asked how something worked, I had an answer on WhatsApp fast, and a couple of my suggestions actually made it into the app. Rare to get that kind of hands-on support from an app team.
I've been using Videopoint for my swimwear brand to create realistic AI-generated videos, and it's honestly been a game changer for our content workflow. I was initially skeptical about whether AI videos would look natural, but the quality has exceeded my expectation; they're polished, realistic, and have helped us create more engaging content without the time and cost of constant photo and video shoots. I also appreciate how many tools are built into the platform, making it easy to customize videos for different campaigns and marketing needs. One of the biggest highlights, though, has been the customer support. Whenever I've had a question or gotten stuck, there's always someone available to help, and the responses have been quick and genuinely helpful. The integrations with my online store and social media platforms also make publishing content incredibly seamless. Overall, Videopoint has become a valuable part of my marketing toolkit, and I'd highly recommend it to any business looking to scale high-quality, realistic video content efficiently.
Thank you for this. On the swimwear doubt: we're in the Google for Startups program and work directly with ByteDance, so we run their models with the sensitivity filters loosened. That's what lets swimwear generate properly – the garment stays right, and the quality holds across a whole catalog instead of landing once and missing the next time. You were skeptical going in, and we're grateful you gave it a try anyway. Glad the constant shoots are off your plate too. – The VideoPoint team
Our retail side is a different job from the wholesale site. Every style needs video for the product page and for socials, and with denim the fit is the whole pitch — a wide leg and a barrel read nothing alike on camera, so one generic clip per product does not work. We fed in the product photos we already had and generated across the catalog instead of picking a few hero styles. Doing it in bulk is what made it realistic at our size. Took some back and forth to get the look consistent, and the team sorted the template out with us.
A wide leg and a barrel really don't read the same on camera, so one generic clip per product was never going to do it. Doing the whole catalog from the photos you already had, instead of a few hero styles, is the part that makes it work at your size. And fair on the back and forth – a consistent look across a denim range takes a couple of passes, so we're glad the template got there. – The VideoPoint team
I spent my first hour or two experimenting and half-expecting mediocre results — I'm an ex-IT man, I know how new tech goes. Instead the results were excellent, better than I expected. I run Classic Underwear, a small men's underwear label, and I'm a one-man band on content, so being able to generate the images and videos I needed the same day I installed it — with my new products on my own model — was exactly what I'd been missing. What really sold me is having it all in one place: my products sit right there in the same generation chat, so there's no saving, uploading and downloading assets between apps, and I publish what I make straight onto my Shopify product page. It's not flawless, but no software is — and the moment I had a question, the team was right there. I've bought more credits and carried straight on with my whole new lineup.
Thanks for this. An ex-IT man half-expecting mediocre, then landing on "better than I expected" – that's the reaction we work for. When you're a one-man band on content, getting your images and videos the same day you install, on your own model, is the whole point. And you put your finger on why it's all in one place: your products right there in the chat, nothing to save and re-upload between apps, straight onto your product page. Fair on "not flawless" too – we keep fixing and improving, and we're right here when you need us. Good luck with the new lineup. – The VideoPoint team
