VNest: ChatGPT & Gemini Feed
The reviews for the VirtueNest GPT Feed app are mixed, with both positive and negative feedback from users. Positive aspects highlighted include the ease of setup, seamless user interface, and the app's ability to improve product visibility on ChatGPT search results. Users appreciate the automated tagging feature and the responsive support team. However, negative feedback revolves around issues with the robots.txt editing feature causing problems with Google Ads campaigns, lack of results in AI search visibility, and concerns about attribution data being injected into customer-facing order notes.
Amazing app! Easy to setup and seamless UI. It crawls the product pages and tags them for AI visibility. It's like using a premium SEO tool but for Chatgpt! HIghly recommend it!
Be careful with the robots.txt editing feature — it misconfigured AdsBot-Google which broke our Google Ads campaigns. The app also injects attribution data into order notes visible to customers. After using the app for over a month, we saw zero results in terms of AI search visibility. Not suitable for premium brands.
Can't get any word from support despite multiple attempts through several channels. In "fixing" our non-existent robots.txt liquid file, the app prevents our Google Ads account and similar from crawling our site. Big non-no which prevented all ads from running. It also puts attribution data into our customer's Order Notes field, which is customer-facing in our email notifications and I suspect overwrites any note the customer puts there in our shopping cart.
I tried installing it and I don't see any form of support from this company.
After using VirtueNest GPT Feed for a few weeks, I can't say enough good things about it. In order for my products to show up in ChatGPT search results, it automatically checks and corrects my store's product visibility.
