I strongly advise caution before using Yondatax. We experienced a severe data handling issue where another store's sales data was visible in our account for a Louisiana sales tax return. This catastrophic error resulted in our bank account being wrongfully debited for $259 in sales tax. When I attempted to resolve this urgent issue, my emails were completely ignored by their team for over a week. Furthermore, the promises made to us during the sales process were abandoned as soon as we signed the contract. We were promised credit notes to buy out our remaining Avalara contract and cover early cancellation fees, which we never received. We were also assured that Yondatax could retroactively submit historic Missouri sales returns to fulfill our obligations, but this was entirely ignored post-sale. Between the grave data privacy issues, unauthorized financial debits, unfulfilled sales promises, and non-existent customer support, this has been an incredibly frustrating and costly experience. Proceed with extreme caution.
Hi Danny, I am sorry. You should never have had this experience with us, and I've personally reviewed every point you've raised. We let you down in both the handling of your account and our communication, and I’m sorry for the frustration and financial impact this caused. To clarify two things for anyone reading: no other customer's data was shown in your account or shared with anyone. A bug caused system-generated placeholder figures to be used in place of your actual sales on one Louisiana return, which led to an overpayment. We've fixed the cause and reimbursed you in full for the $200 tax overpayment. Separately, the credit covering your remaining fees from your previous tax provider was paid, although we clearly failed to communicate this properly. The delays in responding to you were not acceptable, and we've changed how client onboarding is managed as a result. I've emailed you directly and would welcome a call to put the rest right.
