Great integration, I use it to create new row for each order in a Google sheet, which is then uploaded to my bookkeeping software. Works flawless. Would like to see improved array support so that you can configure more than 1 line item. Example: you could configure the Product line item, which pushes multiple products in an order through as well as a shipping line item, which pulls the shipping line item through.

Brilliant. Connected Shopify with Active Campaign through this app. Pipes the info right over. I didn't even know this existed, now I am wondering where else I can use it.

We use Zapier to import our customer contact information into Zoho CRM / Zoho Books. It saves us a lot of time adding our web orders into our bookkeeping. We do not pull the actual order details (items/prices), just contact info. The contact information is the most time consuming part of the bookkeeping. Recommended as a time saving tool.

Pretty good. We use this to take a Shopify sale to Salesforce. We're not at the point were we want to invest a ton of money in a custom cart, that's why we went with Shopify. If you're looking for something to cut down on time entering data from Shopify to a CRM, Zapier will help you do it with minimal effort.

Zapier does exactly what it says. In our case, we're using it move customers from Shopify to Hatchbuck. There unfortunately isn't native integration, but Zapier makes it work. Saves us a ton of time from manual entry.

Zapier is awesome!! It makes me feel like I'm a cool programmer that can make anything happen between my apps. We use Zapier to connect Shopify to: 1) Mailchimp, adding customers to our maillist (the original mailchimp app unsubscribes returning customers). 2) Mandrill, creating a follow up mail 5 days after an order is fulfilled (dont want to follow up if we havent sent the order).

If you need to get data out of Shopify into another system this is the way to go. All our orders are in Salesforce thanks to this app. There are some things I would like it to do that it doesn't, though these aren't the app's fault. Some of the data that comes out of Shopify is incomplete or formatted weird, which required lots of work on the Salesforce end to get it to work (triggers, etc). However, it couldn't have been done at all without Zapier. We're a non-profit, and they were willing to let us use the app for free. So what could I complain about, really?

As a print company, we need to be able to internally track orders in different stages of production which requires numerous order statuses. Since Shopify cannot handle this, we were relieved to discover Zapier. Zapier lets Shopify and Desk.com talk allowing us to improve support while tracking orders and customers. Without Zapier, we would not be able use Shopify. Additionally, Zapier talks to so many other platforms and applications, the opportunities to improve your business seem literally endless.

If you've thought about integrating Shopify and Xero, look no further. We tried using Carry the One, but it felt really 1994 PC-era and wasn't the most user friendly app. Enter Zapier. . . clean, fun, wonderful. Keep up the great work guys! And thanks to Wade for the extra fast and helpful support on setup.

We use Zapier for a ride range of syncs from a simple sync to google cal to syncing our shopify orders over to quickbooks online. Zapier is a powerful cloud base solution but also offers a clean and simple interface that almost anyone can use (no programming knowledge needed!) Thanks Zapier Team!

The product is great, and the team is great. We use Zapier to post products to twitter, Tumblr (via a Zap from Shopify to Gmail), Buffer (to post to Google Plus), and even to allow Mandrill to get a fresh, individual discount code for new Mail Chimp subscribers. And I've run into a couple of situations where I didn't know how to do something and when I described what I was trying to do the support team essentially figured it out for me. I highly recommend Zapier to anyone on Shopify.

What can I say? We LOVE Zapier! I recommend it every chance I get for two reasons: 1) It saves tons of money. The integrations it facilitates would often cost thousands to do with a developer. Possible, but expensive. 2) It just works. We rely on it to get a lot of our systems talking with each other, and it just works. Plain and simple. We set up the integration, test it, and then forget about it as it runs in the background just doing its thing. My advice: Stroll over to Zapier.com, see what services are on the platform, and spend a day or two thinking about all the different ways you can connect them. I'm sure you'll find at least one connection that will make your life easier. Zapier is easily one of the best companies for small businesses on the web today.

As an early startup with a small team and limited time, we love automating as many processes and tasks as possible. Really glad we found Zapier as it's helped us tremendously in cutting time and effort so that we can focus on more important things. Great app - highly recommend it!

This is a great app for us. We have it connected to our Infusionsoft account, eliminating double entry of our new customers (as well as our repeat customers' orders); we use Buffer to tweet and post our new products we're uploading to Shopify (70,000 of them over the next three months); and we use Wufoo outside of Shopify to connect to Infusionsoft to add new leads that come in. We're a small business with an eye towards automation, and Zapier fits the bill for us really, really, well.

This app is AWESOME. I always thought, "wouldn't it be great if I could..." without realizing that I can, using Zapier. I'm feeling a little impatient for some of the other services I use (AHEM, SHIPSTATION) to get on the bandwagon and make some integrations available through Zapier so I and everybody else can run our businesses more efficiently. But this app has already saved me so, so much admin time. Love it.

UPDATE 12/12/18: Wow - we have been saving a lot of time for a long time now. The zaps described below in our original review are outdated. Zapier has also become even more powerful (multi-step zaps with alternate paths). We now do way more and with some different apps (HelpScout, Base, TypeForm). New customers get emails asking how they found us (and a follow-up after a week if they don't respond). They are also added to HelpScout in case we need to reach out. Canadian customers get special emails about customs. Customers ordering free samples or abandoning checkout are added to Base as Deals. On shipment, customers get special instructions about receiving freight. Customers who purchase after requesting samples are logged in a "converted sampler" Google Sheet. Results from TypeForm "How They Found Us" are shared in a different Google Sheet with our PPC agency. In short, if you can map a business process out, you can improve your efficiency by automating with Zapier. And, of course, top-notch support is there to help you along the way. ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 2013: We absolutely LOVE Zapier. Super easy to use, super powerful, super support. So far we have connected up Shopify to Desk.com (which we also love) and a Google Spreadsheet Form Results doc to Zoho CRM. The combination of Zapier and Desk.com is amazing. It is allowing us to automatically make sure we give attention to certain orders. For example, when a customer does not enter a shipping phone number, Zapier will create a case so long as "Mail" is not in the shipping line data since we don't need a phone number in those cases so no harm. We set the subject of the case via Zapier to include the order number and "is missing a phone number." Desk's rules take over and send a special email requesting the info from the customer where the case title contains that phrase. All fast, all automatic, all simple to get going. Support is great too. I asked a question about our Desk.com custom fields since we want more data from Shopify transferred. Support made it happen with the hour. Zapier makes great apps like Desk.com even more powerful.
