Thee worst went through the entire process my customers started using just to find out my shop didn't get approved after my customer used afterpay. No notice was sent to me. No reason of denial when their are a lot of hair company's using them. Now I have to remove all of this off my website. There is no phone call or help desk to help you. All website help is not helpful, people that email you don't help you. This is a joke. My customers begged for afterpay... never again. No longer will use for myself either worst experience ever now I got to get the money they do have smh

i reside in canada and i can’t take afterpay payments from the U.S even though that’s where most of my sales come from… doesn’t make sense

Having a tough time getting the payment button to show in my checkout. I didn't have this problem before.

they are garbage. they don't even care about you. try yourself, have an issue and you will see how many months will take to have someone doing something. TRY BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and small claim at online court if you need a resolution.

I wish I could give Afterpay a good review. I mean, it works...when it works. But trying to reach someone at Afterpay when it doesn't work is a nightmare! No email responses. Just automated messages or blanketed responses from what appears to be a temporary intern. No real help at all. At this point, I'm looking for other options. This review is my last stitch effort to get someone's attention and a REAL response and solution to my problems!

I don't know what is going on with this app but I have tried to connect this app with the Afterpay merchat portal to do the popups and adds and it doesn't work. Support doesn't address the issues of how to integrate the app into shopify themes. I'm hoping someone will reach out to me to help with this issue.

AfterPay as a service is fine. This app is garbage. I updated my theme and tried to get AfterPay info back on my site, this app fails after the first 2 steps in the set-up. Support is non-existent.

Have been approved and have afterpay as a payment method yet this app still wont connect and when i try it says it is still in review. this issue needs to be fixed

So it has been about a month since I applied, i received an email saying that I was approved and would be active on the 6th. Every time I long in it says it is still in review and I have sent multiple emails with no replies. I will be removing this app and finding a different one. Don't waste your time like I did.

I've checked our system and it appears we reached out to your email (reads***gmail dot com) on November 30th to verify some information on your Afterpay Application but never received a response. Is this still the correct email to reach you? We've flagged your case internally and will try to reach out again in case you're willing to give us a second chance.

I have tried to get this app up and running several times with no success. I get an email to login, then it says compliance review is still reviewing, even though i get emails to say review is completed and ready to install. until afterpay get their install / integration sorted I will give it a miss.

This app used to work really well. My last two themes were not compatible, and they are Shopify 2.0 themes from Shopify. Now it does not work and the coding from Afterpay is too tedious to get working as I cannot get the placement right in the coding. Still will offer afterpay at checkout, but no real way of advertising it except images.

Terrible service. The app asked me to install and I did all the way to set up to messaging setup and add payment method it told me complete. Then to double check, i sent an email to check as when I tried to log into my afterpay account it said i didn't have one. contacted Afterpay got one reply saying they would look into it and then Nothing despite 5 or 6 emails

Hi. Are you talking about chat service for getting an Afterpay merchant account or for Afterpay Attract (onsite messaging)? We do have chat for this onsite messaging app, but not for afterpay.com. We've been with Afterpay for 2 years now. First year - no tax invoice form and no response from the company. This year a tax form was sent out and it was COMPLETELY INACCURATE! *update 3/21* Afterpay had a representative reach out to me, however, they seemed a bit more interested in having me update their app and less interested in the tax form concerns.

Don't even bother, I suggest trying Klarna instead, get instant approval, Afterpay wont even respond to you if your business is too small. Customer Service was horrendous as per other reviews, you won't get any support at all so use Klarna instead. Reached out multiple times and everytime I got silence as a response. USE KLARNA INSTEAD.

Most horrendous customer service. I have been trying to reach them for weeks now about the recent upgrade and can't speak with anyone on the phone. Left several messages and no one returns phone calls. I will be removing the app shortly from my store.

We have a niche very small business and reached out to this company ahead of applying to ask questions about their approval process. We received a reply that completely ignored our questions and instead just vigorously encouraged us to apply instead. We were quickly denied service, after application, with no reason given. Ultimately a good thing, since we will not want to do business with a completely impersonal company that shows themselves to be untrustworthy.

Our customer service or sales team members tend to encourage merchants to apply because our underwriting team is best at determining if your business is a right fit for Afterpay as each business is unique, it's hard to have a blanket answer. Some reasons for rejecting the application is private. In your case, certain items in your store sells fell into our banned categories. I have already shared your feedback to appropriate teams.
