This AI alt text generator completely transformed my Shopify SEO strategy! I had over 3,000 product images without proper alt text descriptions, and manually writing SEO-optimized alt tags would have taken months. The app works for small alt text edits and for bulk changes up to about 150 images. Beyond that it becomes unreliable. it takes to loo long more than hours and does not run in the background reliably. Credit renewals are not transparent and no renewal date is shown. Support has been unhelpful and did not follow up on my questions.

Amazing app, I've tried several other alt text generator apps but this one came out best :). What I really like is that you can make a combination of the product title AND a descriptive text about the image through the AI image analyzer, so it works best for SEO and accessibility. There are several other settings you can adjust, like the length of the text, tone of voice etc. Overall very happy!

Super helpful app, with excellent customer support! We needed to create alt text for almost 40k images on our site. Mike was readily available and helped troubleshoot the few issues that did come up due to the huge number of images we were trying to run through. I think it was the most they had processed at once, but they got it done, all while checking in to make sure we liked the results that were generated. Very handy to be able to customize the tone/feel of the text being generated. We purchased credits in bulk after discussing with Mike, and will be subscribers going forward for new images added. Highly recommended!

SEO Hero has been an invaluable tool for my store. I use it to automatically generate alt text for all my product images, and it’s saved me countless hours. The AI is accurate, fast, and consistent. On top of that, customer support has been incredibly helpful and responsive any time I had a question. Highly recommend if you care about SEO and accessibility.

This app saved me countless hours. I had hundreds of images without alt text, and with just a few clicks, everything was handled automatically. The alt descriptions are clean, relevant, and actually make sense which isn’t always the case with AI tools. SEO improvements started showing up within a few weeks. Honestly one of the most practical tools I’ve used on Shopify.

Amazing app, generate accurate alt texts for best price in the market. Also have multilanguage feature that helped a lot. Support was 10/10 also, solve any issues within an eye blink.

Super useful app. I was able to get the Alt Text generated for 2000 images in just about an hour. So far I have encountered 2 bugs, however the customer service team was incredibly quick to respond, take action and resolve the issues. The AI does have an issue with character count in case you mean to keep them limited to a certain number of characters, however the descriptions it provides are solid and descriptive. I will definitely continue using this app for the foreseeable future.

Provides excellent, detailed alt text descriptions, and allows you to customize the prompt to include necessary information/formatting. Customer service is incredibly fast and helpful. Highly recommend for its purposes.

Great app overall. The bulk processing feature is a lifesaver, and the AI does a solid job with most images. Took off one star because sometimes the descriptions are a bit too generic for very specific technical products, but customer service was super helpful in adjusting the settings to improve this. Would recommend for most stores.

I tried a few other apps before, but this is the only one where the generated text actually made sense. I also like the fact that you can add in keyword that you want to focus on.

I’ve tried other tools, but this one is by far the easiest to use. The alt text is accurate and descriptive, which I love, and it’s been a big help for my site’s accessibility and SEO. Two thumbs up!

vierd accounting, i have total 2000 images paid them several times and each time the available credit becomes 0. Why can not the developer have a clean accounting

This app was very easy to install on my shopify store. Their support was super fast and they answered all my questions quickly. I have about 100 products and this app worked well. I would recommend.
