Algolia is a great product and we are very happy with it. This has drastically improved our search and merch experience through AI recommendations and other automations. The platform is always evolving and we can't wait to see the new features. The Algolia app works well with Shopify. It does not provide a frontend framework though so this is something your developer team will need to implement with Algolia. Also their support and CSM are very responsive and we have always been able to find commercial and technical solutions.

I recommend Algolia 100% - When launched our online store we used different apps for product discovery functionalities, it was always complex and the results obtained never made sense. Algolia's app is the best in the market, truly using AI and data smartly and easily, plus continuously evolving and developing new features and always getting excellent support from their team from a technical but also commercial perspective.

I have worked on Algolia implementations for other software stacks, and I can tell that the integration with Shopify facilitates a lot of work that you would need to do if you need to build this integration from scratch. This App doesn't provide out of box functionalities for design, etc. so it might need some adjustment and customisations to fit your needs in terms of design. That said, the most valuable thing this App provides is the access to first in class e-commerce technology for Search & Discovery without doing a lot of work.

Very easy to setup, just a few button clicks. The Search result page was easy to customise and I could easily blend it to look like my website. From no search ability to a great search functionality in matter of minutes - that's what I loved about it. Great search results as expected and I also tried their new NeuralSearch product which enables me to support multi-language semantic search in less than an hour. Very Exciting.

Algolia has been a great investment in helping us aggregate search records across different WordPress and Shopify environments. Their support has been invaluable -- from presales to post-launch questions. The product itself works great and tying into the API to customize our results pages was very straightforward. I've used Algolia for a few years now, originally with the full API integration, and now with the Shopify app and I've been really impressed with both. Investment in the set-up and configuration is definitely worth the output - it's such a powerful tool. Algolia's re-ranking in our collection pages and search results improved our click throughs and conversion enough to quickly pay for the license. I know this because of the ability to A/B test in the tool, coupled with visible and detailed analytics. Would definitely recommend.

We tested almost every search app out there and spent countless hours finding the right search for our shopify store, robotvacuums.com. We also ported it to another site, freedomusasales.com Algolia is not only better than all search engines, it completely blows all other apps out of the game. I cannot understand any of the low reviews except A: Lazy ignorant people who do not understand what they are missing out on or B: Jealous competitors who know their goose is cooked. Other search apps are just modifications of the built in shopify search, which is extremely lacking in features. Some are so backwards that you cannot even type a search term in middle of a sentence, it will not show results. We are still new to algolia and learning how to harness it but seeing the bad reviews is so categorically false and wrong on so many levels that it just gets me angry and we had to write something... Thanks!

Great app, works seamlessly within your site. (Doesn't feel like a bolted on app as many do.) Good support too, they have helped us achieve some quite complex technical solutions on our store.

Search is the most important feature on our online store with 15k+ products. And Algolia is the perfect solution for us. The indexing process works very well, and the Algolia dashboard gives us tons of features. We used InstantSearch.js to implement a custom search user experience.

I have used Algolia for the previous e-commerce sites on the companies that I worked for and it has always been the best option to get results, users can search for any type of product attributes and make it easier to convert. The spelling check and predictive text functionalities are something that no other search app has make work so well. I would recommend using without a doubt

This Algolia integration was easy to implement and provided a much better result that out of the box search. We've also been able to adjust the ranking and disable typo-tolerance for a few unique strings to better suit our needs.
