I was doing this manually and it was going to take me MONTHS with all the photos I have. This app did it in minutes! And honestly the text was accurate too. Highly recommend.

AltText.ai has been an absolute game changer for our store. It takes something that is normally tedious, time consuming, and easy to neglect and turns it into a fast, reliable, genuinely useful workflow. The alt text it generates is accurate, descriptive, and actually improves accessibility and SEO rather than feeling like generic filler. We are absolutely thrilled with AltText.ai. Our primary reason for choosing this app was accessibility, and it has exceeded our expectations. In less than an hour, we went from well over 16,000 images missing alt text across three stores to just a few hundred actively processing. That alone is incredible. More importantly, the quality of the alt text is excellent. The descriptions are clear, accurate, and genuinely useful for screen readers, not generic or spammy. The alttext.ai app produced excellent text for my products. I'm not sure if it can help with SEO title and descriptions yet.

Good app, simple and effective. Does have a few bugs and inconsistencies. Also can get rather expensive if you have a large prod catalogue or image-heavy site that needs to be fully updated. Note - does not change meta titles.

I just bought 500 points, but only processed one photo. This terrible usage experience... The talent points helped me handle 25 photos. The developers please contact me as soon as possible to solve my problem.

Really simple to use, intuiative and the results do exactly what they say on the tin. I tried the free trial and then upgraded. Good value and efficient.

So its been a week and the support team still did nothing, I think this is the worst support I ever had from an app. Cant add ai text to blog and missing in content, said would fix it in 24 hours, 1 week later and multiple times of asking, still nothing. Will be Charging back payment through my Credit Card

Great piece of software. I love that you can just pay as you go, no subscription needed, and it did what it says to do. Used AI to write accurate descriptions of all my products and images.

This app does not work, it is not working for me

Did not work well for me. The text it created was good, but no matter how many credits I had, it would not update all of the images in a full catalog update. I got probably 90% of the images updated with AltText but it could not finish the job even with enough credits to do so.

Its a wonderful App to get the very important Alt Txts in an easy and efficient manner. Also the AI generates texts which are so relevant to the image.

Very impressed so far. High quality alt tags created in the background. in 99% of cases the tages are at least as good as we would create and often better. If you are updating multiple sites however be careful that the description you enter in the Chat GPT directions is not specific to another site - Keep it generic and you will be fine. Would love to see the plugin move the CHat GPT override otion into the SHopify options to prevent that occurring.
