As a new Shopify requirement to integrate with Amazon, notwithstanding the fact that we have had zero integration problems and running quite smoothly for 2 years, we now have to pay a per transaction fee or flat percentage fee on all Amazon transactions. At best, if you have even one transaction over the "free 50," you're paying $.37 more for the same transaction you had two weeks ago, or $.19 each if you have a full 100 transactions. The best plan they have to offer requires an up front cost of $199/month for the lowest cost transaction fee of $.08. If you don't opt in to a plan, you can plan on spending 1% of sales to this app. WHAT?! This is a money grab, straight up. We already pay Amazon fees, and Shopify fees and credit card processing fees, and - perhaps the world has noticed that production, shipping and manufacturing costs have doubled for small business owners? Here's where this new requirement comes in - Codisto, in partnership with Amazon and Shopify, now wants their cut to handle the same transaction I just completed for free, with no complaints. No thanks. For folks that have limited sales capacity in-person and are transitioning to more of an online approach - you know the investment you've made to optimize, and to market and advertise. Guess who benefits from every transaction you have invested in moving forward? Yup. Codisto, whoever they are. Thanks for adding another requirement and fee structure to small businesses everywhere, Shopify - way to chip away at the little guy and add more stressors under the guise of optimization - to your benefit.

Comparing to the default CED Amazon app, I really enjoy using the Amazon by Codisto app as it simplifies the way you link product listings on Amazon and allows you to manage different products information in bulk with ease. Even though the app has some little issues, I believe that the development team is working hard to resolve those inconveniences and to deliver the best experience using the app as I notice the ongoing improvements as I continue using the app. Not only that, but the support team has always been quick on the response and very helpful in getting customers' concerns resolved as soon as possible. I'm very satisfied with the app.

Useless. Amazon Channel by Codisto doesn't support FBA for Shopify web orders. (( Don't waste your time trying it.

Amazon is a complete nightmare if you have to create new product listings instead of just being able to link to existing listings, especially if your items have variations. This app has helped slightly, on some items, but nowhere near what I expected. And if there's an error in the listing, all it does is link you to the Amazon error message pages, which are pretty useless. If I wanted to, or understood how to use an Amazon template to list things, I wouldn't need this app. I still don't understand, if this app is creating my SKU numbers for me, then why am I getting a SKU error message and why are you not helping me fix it?

I used the app to sync inventory with amazon and our Shopify store, it really helpful and automated, which helps a lot in manual errors happening

Overall good. Their help documentation to migrate from existing Shopify Amazon sales channel is helpful but the app is not designed well and still has lots that could be improved upon. If you're migrating from the old Shopify Amazon selling channel you'll probably find the many new options they provide confusing. Syncing products has been a pain due to the design of the backend. Hopefully they will redesign it to make it easier to use. I liked the old Shopify app where you could select the Amazon product (which showed a thumbnail as well as had the variant names written out clearly) and then select the corresponding Shopify product and link all your variations. The current set up with a long list of ASIN in a spreadsheet format isn't very user friendly. It's not clear what the product I'm linking to is as it is only identified by it's ASIN. On the plus side, support has been quick to respond to my emails and are currently working with me to try and fix it. Hopefully we'll get it working. Will update.

Not sure why some are complaining about the set-up process. I found this app to be extremely easy and intuitive to set-up and much easier than the Shopify app that it replaced.

Our Shopify/Amazon connection was a mess, which was a big problem with our recent upgrade to NetSuite. We couldn’t always tell in NetSuite which SKUs were being sold on Amazon, which was maddening and required daily hand correction. Fortunately, I was able to easily sort it out with the Codisto app, which appears to be a solid, reliable connector. Looking forward to exploring deeper into features I haven’t used yet.

This one's not ready for prime time. I spent 6 hours trouble shooting through a some listings with their chat support. Then another 2 hours undoing the damage to my Amazon listings. I think I'll just revisit this in a few months and see if it improves with a flood of new users.

We have had a very smooth onboard with codisto. There were issues with syncing some ASIN and using variants though they have been very helpful in answering all our questions and helping us troubleshoot.

I wanted to update my review for anyone who might have seen it. I had a very hard time linking our ASINs to this app and getting in touch with support, but in the last day, Luke from their company reached out and has been personally fixing the listings that didn't sync correctly which has been a big help in getting our FBM orders to pass into Shopify. I'm glad I was able to get some help directly from the app to make sure our ASINs worked the way we needed them to.

Downloaded the app and I am using it. I had a couple of problems with an error and customer service was available right away on chat and helped me get everything figured out. So far the app is working well.

Update: Easily the most problems I've had with an app. And the most costly. So many hours fixing Amazon listings it screwed up. There was some complex error with parent and child items. They were never able to figure out why it happened and there was no way to see which products it changed. Still finding things it screwed up months later. They were responsive and tried to help, but they couldn't find the source. Now we decided to link more items primarily just in hopes to keep inventory synced. The app kept changing our shipping templates for products after we changed them in Amazon the app was somehow changing them back without alerting us. Sold products prime that we couldn't ship in time (which is why we changed the templates) now we lost our prime status.... Hate this app. Original: Works well sometimes. Some nice features like inventory buffer. Ability to link products is unreliable and hard to troubleshoot. App has potential, but is still working through some beta type issues. Their management team has been responsive, but some of the the issues it caused have wasted a fair amount of my time.

We switched to this app while it was still in Beta. We had struggled with the Shopify Amazon channel for a long time, but are actively selling on Amazon, so needed a solution that was quick to implement. This app linked up to our active offers (over 500) very quickly and with minimal effort. After this we started finding quite a few bugs in the program and started to wonder if it was a long-term solution for us. We brought up many of the issues with the support team who offered very quick responses. Since it was still in Beta, many of our concerns had to be forwarded to the developers. They started addressing these things quickly though and within a couple of weeks almost all our concerns have now been fixed. It's been evident that the team at Codisto listened to our feedback and I have faith that they'll continue to fine-tune this app and provide support over the future.

If you are reading this, you are likely aware of the Amazon by Shopify fiasco where the app suddenly stopped working and left many Amazon sellers stranded. Well, Codisto steppped up to the plate and has gone out of their way to ensure that Shopify store owners can quickly get reconnected to Amazon via their app. Codisto's team is very responsive and dedicated to quickly getting you up & running!

I was having difficulty connecting the app to my store. Arlie and Nikki from the Codisto team were very patient with me and were able to offer some clarity on why I was having connectivity issues. Once I update my trials I will be able to connect and start working via the Codisto app for Amazon. I'm very much looking forward to it!

After extreme frustration with the traditional Amazon app not working, I switched over to this one. Set up was easy and customer service was extremely fast. When I sent an email I usually got a reply in less than a half hour.

We had been invited to the early beta program of the new Amazon by Codisto sales channel and it had been a great experience. The team has been working hard to get all the key features implemented to make this the go to channel for linking Shopify and Amazon. The app is easy to install and now they have made it super easy to publish our products in Amazon. We have a very complex product structure and the Codisto team has been super helpful making sure that all this can be accommodated with their sales channel app. This has made our life so much easier and helped us to simplify our product management on Amazon and safe us hours of manually updating products on Amazon.
