We have been using the app for quite some time. Everything was working fine until we needed support after importing new codes. Support seems no longer to exist: it is not possible to create a ticket on their ticket platform because the “product” is not recognized. Likewise, emails sent to the email address provided in the Shopify app store remained unanswered. It therefore looks to us as if the app has been abandoned. We will now switch to an alternative app.

This app is down, has been down for 3 days, and my message to support has not been answered.

No support!!!! The app has been down and is still down during the hole day. We have been writing support to know what's going on and how long it will take before it's up running again.... but no answer!!! This app is not reliable! Our work has been stalled the hole day due to Kodbar being down.

Kodbar saved me!! We had a messy list of UPC's and they went above and beyond to help is figure out which ones we could use and which ones we could not, it took days to resolve this and they were so kind and helpful!

Was vulnerable about my learning disability that chat was not the best support. After 3+ hours on chat we then moved to a collab request. Prior I showed them what labels I needed for to be compliant. They could not deliver. I uninstalled the app same day ( should be a trial still) they are charging me for the year.

Our App was actually generating the correct label size so the issue was probably due to your browser settings on the print configuration screen. 9 times out of 10, it's either a wrong selection of paper format on this screen or a configuration issue on the same screen (ex: margin added to printed label, ...) Concerning your payment, I double checked with our team and you haven't been charged at all. If you have any doubt, you can always reach out to our support team. Best, Kwaku

App used to function well but lately the app has been assigning the same barcode to different products resulting in duplicate items with the same UPC. Support is horrible and still have not received a valid explanation or fix.
Hi, A week ago, we sent you an email explaining this unfortunate situation; in the same way, a version of the app was launched with the solution to this situation last week. We constantly work so that our users do not have bad experiences with our application since your satisfaction is our primary objective. Some minor glitches, but overall I am very happy with this app and the ability to print the barcodes for my products. The effectiveness of the development team is exceptional. Any problems you have, they get on it straight away. That kind of customer service is hard to come by these days.

I am very grateful to be working with Kodbar. They have bent over backwards to accomodate my customization needs for my retail store. Literally, no other bardcoding app was able to facilitate what I needed to have done. The Kodbar team has incredible communication, and has been on top of everything I have asked them to do for me. I am so pleased to be working with them. HIGHLY RECOMMMEND!

Disappointed. Asked several times to change our payments into monthly instead of annually and it has not been changed. Very hard to get support on the board with an issue after we purchased different bar codes the app and printer just would not recognize them and would appear blank. Would not recommend. Dont waste your time Unfriendly impossible to use Basic things like save keys add a place to see your templates choose printers etc.. are not there

Most of our features are accessible through the More Button from the different menus of the Shopify admin interface. Maybe this is the reason why you couldn't find the features you are looking for. I downloaded this app in June and spent a ton of money to barcode everything around $600 and for some reason the sight went down in September and I have not been able to barcode anything this it since.

Our site experienced some slowdowns during the month of September for a few hours but since then we upgraded our database and everything is up and running and no user reported any issues. Very user-friendly. It was easy to generate barcodes for my products and print & customize my barcodes on my labels. I also like the fact that you can easily print all barcodes from a specific order in one click.

Find this App great, been using it for about a month now - asked them to add a specific label size one evening and it was ready for me by the next morning. Easy to change layout of text/barcode/sku/price etc on the labels. Exactly what I needed! Thanks

Absolutely terrible. Doesn't do anything and has a terrible interface. Don't waste your time and money. Bullshit.
Hi Aiden, I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our app. We saw that you wanted to print custom size labels, descriptions, and add images to send them to your customers. This is actually not the purpose of our App. The main focus of our App is to automatically generate and assign barcodes to products. We do also offer the possibility to print those barcodes on small labels so that you can stick them on products but since you want to print larger labels with more information and images, you will need to use the barcode feature of our other app. You can find it at the following location: https://apps.shopify.com/automatic-catalog-builder Please let us know if you have any questions. So easy to use and takes the hard work out of creating barcodes and prints them off effortlessly. great app
Thank you very much for your review. We really appreciate it! By the way, we tried to reach you by email but it bounced with an error message saying that your email is misconfigured. Concerning your requests, we will add your label by tomorrow and get back to you when it's done. Adding images is already on our roadmap for a release planned for mid/end July but you could add a feature request from Kodbar dashboard to speed up the release.
