Bazaarvoice Ratings & Reviews
Bazaarvoice has received a mix of positive and negative reviews from ecommerce merchants who have installed it on their Shopify stores. Positive aspects highlighted include the fantastic onboarding experience, quick and easy implementation, responsive account managers, and positive impact on performance metrics such as conversion rates and user engagement. Users appreciate the design and presentation of reviews on their sites, as well as the functionality of filtering reviews. However, negative feedback revolves around issues with review syndication, lack of key features like incentivizing reviews, high cost, poor review email quality, and difficulties in customization and placement of review elements on the site. Some users have experienced a significant decrease in the number of reviews collected since switching to Bazaarvoice.

Terrible experience with Bazaarvoice overall. You need them to enable your account on their end, this app is useless without that. And they offer absolutely no support to do that, just a support team that will keep running you in circles making you want to rip your hair out and never use bazaarvoice again.
In early 2026, we moved to Bazaarvoice from Stamped.io. We had a fantastic onboarding experience with their team - they communicated well, answered all of our questions, and made our transition as smooth as possible. They even met our tight timeline request! The platform continues to improve it's integration with Shopify & and their team does a great job of making us aware of these. Great app & experience!
Very easy and quick implementation!
We recently migrated from Yotpo to Bazaarvoice and the entire experience was so smooth. The onboarding process was fast, well organized, and much easier than we expected. The Bazaarvoice team handled nearly everything for us, making the transition very low lift. Our account manager was fantastic—very communicative, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. Whenever we had questions, the team was quick to respond and made sure everything stayed on track. Overall, it was a great experience and we’re very happy with the switch and would highly recommend!
