This app (and the excellent support) are lifeservers...er, site savers! A massive BOT attack was leaving 100s of abandon carts and actual purchases ("card checking" scheme with low price purchases). Long story short: After trying several options to block the BOTs...I found the Armex App. Setting up the Firewall and proxy server was a bit complicated (for me, at least) however the Armex Firewall support team walked me through it.

I used it for maybe an hour and I am very impressed by this. I can practically see in the stats how China's Temu "creators" who have been stealing my designs are now bumping their heads on the "access denied" wall. Thank you!

I had paid for several apps on Shopify and none could effectively block bots without blocking seo bots. The VPN settings were default set at moderately high and there was no way around it. This app is by far the cheapest AND the most effective. the customer support is also very good. I am not a tech person and they broke down my issue with the checkout bot I had in a way I auld understand AND they told me what to enable to fix it. This app is very easy to use and the ability to see visits as human vs bot also makes it easy to streamline blocking and targeting IPs. Highly recommend.

I love this app. I was so sick and tired of fighting other countries with stealing my photos and product information, then listing them on their fake websites to fraud people out of money. Since I have installed this app, I have less intruders on my site and this app allowed me to disable the right click option to capture my text and photos. It's sad that we have to be diligent with this kind of fraud, but so thankful for this app because there would be no way for me to stop it without being consumed with it all the time and then I would be neglecting my business. This app is a must have for your shop!

Blocking certain countries has virtually eliminated the spam emails from "professionals" with mostly gmail addresses that have no relation to the name that is stated in their email. These email were offers to "audit" my website or to report the numerous errors that were detected. I also like the log that shows where the website visits originate as well as blocked visits.

Not really sure this app even works or does what it claims to do. I can still see other countries I have blocked through this app accessing my website.
We understand your concern. Please rest assured that our app does successfully block all visitors from the countries you added to the Country Blacklist. This can also be easily verified by temporarily blocking your own IP or country and visiting your store — you will find your access will be blocked immediately. In addition, our app includes a feature that can remove blocked visits from Shopify Analytics, helping keep your store data clean and accurate. This option can be found in the app’s General Settings. If you’re not sure how to enable it, our support team is happy to help set it up for you. The reason you may still see visits from blocked countries in Shopify Analytics is because Shopify logs traffic before any app takes effect. As a result, even though our app blocks those visitors right away, the visit attempt may already be recorded. These visitors only see an “Access Denied” message and cannot view or interact with your store in any way. This behavior is determined by Shopify’s platform architecture and applies to all apps.
