I wish a list of orders would appear when I select the order I want to block, but I found that the app asks me to enter my name, phone number, email, or a lot of other information. Unfortunately, the app is very cumbersome. Perhaps if there was customer service, it would make me happy. I might change my comment for the better.
To block a customer, you only need to click “Add” in the Blocklist and enter the visitor’s name, email, or phone(any one of them). We never ask for your name, email, or phone — it’s very clear that those fields are for entering the customer's information you want to block, not your own. We don’t believe this is a cumbersome process — it only takes two simple steps. You mentioned wanting an order list to choose from. However, what actually needs to be blocked is the visitor, not the order. Even if you meant blocking the customer associated with a specific order, that wouldn’t really make sense from a technical or logical standpoint — a visitor you want to block may not have placed any order at all. That’s why all visitor-blocking apps work this way. Also, please note that customer data in orders (such as name, email, and phone) is sensitive information. Our app strictly follows Shopify’s privacy policies — we do not store or expose this kind of personal data. The system only checks these fields at checkout to find matches. If blocking were done directly from order data, the app would have to store those sensitive details first — which would not only violate Shopify’s data-protection rules but also create an unnecessary privacy risk for you as the store owner. Even then, it would still be unclear which specific detail you actually want to block (name, email, phone, address, country, IP, ASN, referrer, etc.). That’s why all security apps require merchants to manually enter the visitor’s identifying information. As for customer support — yes, we have it. You can reach us anytime through the green email button in the bottom-right corner of the app, just like most websites (including yours) provide their contact option. We always respond promptly to every message we receive. In fact, we also sent you several messages offering help, but there was never any reply from you.

I've only been using this app for about a week and I love how much insight and control it gives you. I've asked a couple of questions to the team and got really good and in depth replies. I can see myself a long term customer especially with how cheap it is. I would rate this app a solid 5 start but I got to deduct one because of their tactic to influence reviews. On the app they have a 1 to 5 start review button, if you select 5 star it sends you to the Shopify app store page so you can fill an official review. On the other hand if you select less than 5 stars on the app they send you to their own contact form instead in an attempt to divert any non 5 star review away from the official app store. If you ask me that's a bit dishonest since its done to mislead potential customers by influencing reviews. I'm more than happy to change my review to 5 star if they change that practice.

I have been using BM for a quite a while now and it has been great help, blocking certain countries to certain IPs, it also gives you real time visitors log which shopify misses.

Fantastic app to protect my webshop! This app is truly a must-have if you want to secure your store from unwanted visitors, bots, and fraud. It’s incredibly easy to set up, and the features are very comprehensive. I can block visitors by IP, country, city, ISP, or even by their email and phone number. The geolocation redirection works perfectly, and I also use the content protection to prevent copying of images and text. Support has been helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. Overall, it’s a super powerful app that gives me peace of mind and protects my business effectively. I highly recommend it to any Shopify store owner!

Great customer service, quick and thorough responses. There are a lot more features to this app other than just the country blocker feature. I like to use the "shop visitor report". This feature helps me to know what products people are interested in and what aspects of the website are being used by visitors. Shopify Analytics is very limited and vague when it comes to visitor info, it mostly focuses on sales information. There are also content protection features which can be customized to protect your images from being saved or printed. It can even protect the writing on the site from being copied and pasted.

Amy was super helpful and identified a wider issue we were facing. It wasn't something that BM could assist with at this point. But based on my experience to-date, their customer service has been great.

This app is valuable. I recently noticed a significant number of suspicious sessions coming from Germany, which concerns me. After comparing user reviews, app features, and pricing, I decided to give it a try. First, I blocked visits from Germany and all bots and VPNs. Then, Amy guided me on how to detect IP information, and I successfully blocked all visits from a specific German organization, along with their ASN and ISP (though I'm not entirely sure what those letters mean). During my usage, I also identified many bots crawling my website. By leveraging AI, I was able to pinpoint which ones I could block without negatively affecting my Google rankings or disrupting customer usage. Additionally, this app allows me to prevent image copying—no right-clicking is allowed now. However, I still permit content copying because I believe customers may occasionally need to copy product names. I must emphasise how fantastic Amy's support was! She not only answered all my questions but also checked my settings to help me avoid making any mistakes. I highly recommend installing this app before the price goes up!

Love this app. Great customer service too. I was desperate to find an app that would block referrers from spam referral sites. The referrer blocker feature accomplished my goal. Amy was super helpful in a timely manner and provided screenshots to get me on the right track!

Shocking app, even after uninstall leaves vicious code in your liquid theme corrupting the sessions.
Our app absolutely does not leave any code behind after uninstallation. The code in your Theme was manually added by our developer at your request. We even applied for Collaborator access to your store, and only after you agreed and approved it, we added the code. Two months ago, when you installed our app, you mentioned that your store was receiving a large number of unknown visits during specific times. You didn’t know what they were or how to deal with them. Although this was not within the scope of our app’s services, we still helped you analyze the issue and found a solution for free. That’s why we added the code at the time. We also informed you clearly that this code needed to work together with our app, and that if you ever wanted to uninstall our app, you need to contact us to remove the code. You agreed to this and even discussed with us the possible effect of this code on visitors with slower internet connections. This code did solve your issue — our engineer spent two full days working on it, completely free of charge. However, two months later when you uninstalled the app, you did not inform us, and you did not remove the code yourself. That is why you still see the code. We’ve already explained to you several times where this code came from after we received your review. Shopify has long forbidden apps from directly inserting code into a merchant’s Theme. Our app does not have the ability to directly modify your Liquid files. This piece of code is not part of our app — it was manually added by our developer with your permission. So naturally, it would not be automatically removed when you uninstall the app.
