This app is great, literally just installed it and am already seeing suspect countries being blocked in the logs. In addition it has some really great features, like blocking dev tools, the console, right-clicks, etc... And there is an Admin mode so I can allow myself to debug while it blocks everyone else from those types of actions. So out of the gate, this gets a 5-star review for sure.

About a week using the app and so far it does what I need, plus a bunch of other features. Also great support from Amy that helped me solve some issues.

I installed this app about an hour ago. There was a China bot on my site scraping the website when I downloaded it. Set country block to China and 2 other countries that try to bot order, and immediately the China bot was kicked off my site. The $3.99 price is fair for only blocking 3 countries. Worked immediately. I will keep this app.

Easy to use, and it does block the countries that you don't really want to show. Good App, strongly suggested!

I wish a list of orders would appear when I select the order I want to block, but I found that the app asks me to enter my name, phone number, email, or a lot of other information. Unfortunately, the app is very cumbersome. Perhaps if there was customer service, it would make me happy. I might change my comment for the better.
To block a customer, you only need to click “Add” in the Blocklist and enter the visitor’s name, email, or phone(any one of them). We never ask for your name, email, or phone — it’s very clear that those fields are for entering the customer's information you want to block, not your own. We don’t believe this is a cumbersome process — it only takes two simple steps. You mentioned wanting an order list to choose from. However, what actually needs to be blocked is the visitor, not the order. Even if you meant blocking the customer associated with a specific order, that wouldn’t really make sense from a technical or logical standpoint — a visitor you want to block may not have placed any order at all. That’s why all visitor-blocking apps work this way. Also, please note that customer data in orders (such as name, email, and phone) is sensitive information. Our app strictly follows Shopify’s privacy policies — we do not store or expose this kind of personal data. The system only checks these fields at checkout to find matches. If blocking were done directly from order data, the app would have to store those sensitive details first — which would not only violate Shopify’s data-protection rules but also create an unnecessary privacy risk for you as the store owner. Even then, it would still be unclear which specific detail you actually want to block (name, email, phone, address, country, IP, ASN, referrer, etc.). That’s why all security apps require merchants to manually enter the visitor’s identifying information. As for customer support — yes, we have it. You can reach us anytime through the green email button in the bottom-right corner of the app, just like most websites (including yours) provide their contact option. We always respond promptly to every message we receive. In fact, we also sent you several messages offering help, but there was never any reply from you.

I've only been using this app for about a week and I love how much insight and control it gives you. I've asked a couple of questions to the team and got really good and in depth replies. I can see myself a long term customer especially with how cheap it is. I would rate this app a solid 5 start but I got to deduct one because of their tactic to influence reviews. On the app they have a 1 to 5 start review button, if you select 5 star it sends you to the Shopify app store page so you can fill an official review. On the other hand if you select less than 5 stars on the app they send you to their own contact form instead in an attempt to divert any non 5 star review away from the official app store. If you ask me that's a bit dishonest since its done to mislead potential customers by influencing reviews. I'm more than happy to change my review to 5 star if they change that practice.

I have been using BM for a quite a while now and it has been great help, blocking certain countries to certain IPs, it also gives you real time visitors log which shopify misses.
