BoostPop: Email Popups & Wheel
The reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with many users praising the app for being easy to set up, simple to use, and effective for creating popups, banners, and announcement bars. Merchants frequently mention that it looks good, works reliably, and offers useful customization options, including images, emojis, and flexible popup types. A major strength highlighted throughout the reviews is customer support: many users describe the support team as fast, patient, responsive, and helpful in resolving issues quickly, sometimes within hours. Several reviewers also appreciate the free plan and say it provides strong value for small businesses. The main negative feedback centers on a few usability and transparency issues. Some users found the interface confusing or the setup instructions insufficient, and a few mentioned clunky placement options or missing documentation. There are also complaints about features being advertised before launch, limitations appearing after usage thresholds, and confusion around pricing or label removal requirements. While these criticisms are present, they are relatively rare compared with the large volume of praise, and even some critical reviews still note that the app works well once set up and that support is responsive.
Update: I wanted to update my previous review because the support from the BoostPop team was outstanding. After I reported the issue, they investigated it immediately and identified the root cause within just a few hours. It turned out to be a compatibility issue caused by a shared CSS styling library used by both BoostPop and Klaviyo Sign-up Forms. They fixed the bug the same day and kept me updated throughout the process. I have now re-enabled BoostPop, and everything is working perfectly again. Both my Klaviyo embedded form and popup display correctly. Thank you so much for the incredibly fast support and for taking this issue seriously. It's great to see developers who respond so quickly and resolve problems immediately. I’m happily using the app again and can definitely recommend it.
Thank you for reporting this issue. The problem was caused by a shared CSS plugin library used by both Klaviyo and BoostPop, which created a temporary conflict between the two apps. Once the issue was reported to the BoostPop support team, we identified the cause and resolved it the same day. BoostPop and Klaviyo Sign-up Forms should now work together correctly. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the detailed report, which helped us address the issue quickly.
