This app is easy to use and gets the job done for the most part. But it would be great for it to add alt tags to every content page as well. We have a lot of constantly evolving educational content with images getting refreshed. Also we really need to be able to incorporate our keywords more seamlessly. There's just one general box for a business description and that doesn't really do the trick. I would also have loved for it to incorporate some the text embedded in the images. Overall if you just need something for product and blog images, I think it's great.

The app is a very good idea and also well implemented, but unfortunately a few things are missing to make it a five-star product. For example, it’s not possible to add an alt tag to images in blog posts, only featured image is possible. Also, when generating meta tags, there should be a way to include important variables like type of product or brand or other important product details like this. From an SEO perspective, it’s important that the product type is part of the meta description, but according to support, that isn’t possible and won’t be implemented in the near future. These two points are essential for us to give the app a five-star rating.

We’re excited to let you know that we’ve just rolled out an update that now automatically includes the product category in the Meta Descriptions and Titles for a smoother experience. As for the ALT Text for images in blogs, it’s something we’re actively working on, and it’s on our roadmap. We’re currently waiting on some updates from Shopify regarding their asset library to move forward. So good I tried competition and they were horrible. This app actually does what it promises. Alt's are automatic if needed, however Meta Tags etc are not yet. Love this app.

Automating meta tags is indeed a bit challenging due to how Shopify stores them, making them not easily accessible to third-party systems. We've been using this app for a while now, and briefly: it's awesome! This app has saved us hundreds of manual labour hours, helped us rank higher in Google and brought us a lot of organic traffic. It takes a few clicks to generate metadata for products, individually or in bulk (for large SKU stores). The descriptions are accurate, well crafted and require minimum manual modifications. however, there are a few modifications that the team must work on, such as: bulk generation by vendor, or by stock level. Ability to to generate in bulk to "default meta"products without going through pages manually, and also the ability a set a limit on the number of words for meta description and titles. it also wouldn't be bad to explore the possibility of generating meta-links for products. thanks for the hard work, looking forward to seeing these new features available soon.
