This app has been a huge time-saver for us! It usually does an excellent job of generating accurate alt text for images, and honestly, it's the best AI-based tool I've used for that purpose. There are still a few quirks—for instance, it sometimes adds features to the image that aren’t actually there, like thinking our bottles have straws when they don’t. So it’s worth giving the alt text a quick review before publishing, but it's easy to tweak a word or two when needed. The customer support is fantastic. I asked about a new feature, and they had it added within two weeks. Overall, I highly recommend giving this app a try—it's incredibly helpful and keeps getting better.

This app is easy to use and gets the job done for the most part. But it would be great for it to add alt tags to every content page as well. We have a lot of constantly evolving educational content with images getting refreshed. Also we really need to be able to incorporate our keywords more seamlessly. There's just one general box for a business description and that doesn't really do the trick. I would also have loved for it to incorporate some the text embedded in the images. Overall if you just need something for product and blog images, I think it's great.
Thank you for the review! I'd love to discuss how we can integrate keywords into each product via bulk. To your other point, we're currently constrained by Shopify's Asset Management access limitations, but once the ability to add ALT Text to every image on a page becomes available, we'd be eager to implement that feature.

The app is a very good idea and also well implemented, but unfortunately a few things are missing to make it a five-star product. For example, it’s not possible to add an alt tag to images in blog posts, only featured image is possible. Also, when generating meta tags, there should be a way to include important variables like type of product or brand or other important product details like this. From an SEO perspective, it’s important that the product type is part of the meta description, but according to support, that isn’t possible and won’t be implemented in the near future. These two points are essential for us to give the app a five-star rating.

We’re excited to let you know that we’ve just rolled out an update that now automatically includes the product category in the Meta Descriptions and Titles for a smoother experience. As for the ALT Text for images in blogs, it’s something we’re actively working on, and it’s on our roadmap.
