Promising App, but Plagued by Critical Bugs and Slow Support I was initially excited to use the Courses Plus app. It looks simple, the interface is clean, and it seemed like the perfect solution for creating courses on my Shopify store. I invested three days building out four different courses, intending to upgrade to a paid plan to get more lessons. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this app in its current state. While the concept is great, the execution is hampered by significant bugs and a lack of effective support. Here are the main issues I encountered: Customization Doesn't Work: Basic but essential features, like changing the font colors or the background color of the course pages, simply do not work. My course is stuck with a pink background and red text that I cannot change. Content Management is Buggy: I tried to delete a cover image for a course, and the image remains. This makes it impossible to properly manage the course's appearance. I also experienced issues where content from different courses seemed to get mixed up. Unreliable Functionality: The "Congratulations" page for finishing a course appears on its own, without any way to adjust the timing or trigger. This creates a confusing experience for the user. Slow and Ineffective Support: When I reached out for help, the support team's only solution was to "transfer to a developer." I received no follow-up, and none of the critical issues were fixed. For an app creator, fast and accurate support is essential. Confusing Limitations: The free plan's limits are unclear. It's advertised as allowing 5 lessons, but it's not clear if that means one course with five lessons or five courses with one lesson each. This ambiguity makes it hard to evaluate the app properly before committing to a paid plan. Overall, I really wanted to like this app. The idea is solid, but the number of bugs and the lack of timely support made the three days I spent a waste of time and effort. I hope the developers can address these core problems, because the app has the potential to be a great tool if it worked reliably.

I initially hosted my online courses with one of the big-name platforms outside of Shopify, but this app has been a game-changer. It not only offers more robust course hosting at a very fair price, but the support team and developers respond quickly and work closely with me to make the design truly reflect my brand. I also appreciate how I can sell both products and courses on one online store.

I was using wordpress with tutor lms, which always had some issues with. I tried to change my course platform to Shopify and it took just 12hours to build website and set up everything. Im so happy with support team and the app it self. Interface much better looking, smooth, no lags, and has everything! Thank you!!

When we were looking for a solution to delivering our Scorm compiled videos we dealt with a lot of places and none had everything we needed. So glad we didn't settle for less. As soon as we added the Courses Plus app to our Shopify account, it felt like the app was already one step ahead of us. It was like it knew we had better things to do. A support person was there ready if we needed them. Thank you Iryna! She sent screenshots to show us how to do things. We couldn't believe how fast and easy it was to set up. Also, thank you to Elizaveta, Oleh and Oleksii who were so helpful in facilitating support from the developers. Courses Plus has been so responsive and positive every single time. It's a great product and the customer service is so unbelievably good. The app is cleverly considered and built, and the team behind it are amazing. The developers are absolute pros—responsive, thorough, and genuinely helpful. Every question we had was answered quickly, every setup request handled with care for us. Nothing was overlooked. It doesn't feel like customer support; it feels like a pit crew. Everyone we have been interacting with has been positive, knowledgeable, and clearly committed to making sure everything is running smoothly. Five stars. Ten, if they let us.

I run an online fitness business and Courses Plus has been very helpful. I have some 1 time fee courses and a subscription based course. Just like with any course builder I ran into some bugs and issues. But their support team resolved them within 24 hours.

A smooth experience & outstanding support Last month, I built my very first online course — and chose Courses Plus because I already had a Shopify webshop. The integration was seamless and incredibly easy to use, even for someone like me with no prior experience on other platforms. I’ll admit: I was nervous at first. It’s a lesser-known platform, and I feared I’d be left to figure things out on my own if something went wrong. But wow — the customer service blew me away. Every single question I had was answered quickly, clearly, and with real care. And even more impressive: while I was working on my course, I was proactively offered help via live chat. The support team is absolutely top-notch. Every time I’ve reached out, they’ve responded quickly, clearly, and with real solutions — not just generic replies. I recently requested a new feature and within a week it was already implemented. That level of efficiency and care is honestly rare to find. They really listen to their users and go above and beyond to improve the platform. On top of that, the platform itself is amazing — super intuitive and packed with everything you need to build your courses and subscriptions in a way that looks and feels truly professional.
