I love using Craftybase. It tracks inventory, recipes, production. Costs etc. There is even a feature to push newly made inventory to shopify so that inventory is matched at both locations.

This has saved me a tremendous amount of time and stress with my production. I run a dairy farm and produce a product, so I don't have enough hours in my day. This was so easy to set up and get going on better tracking and management of the business. LOVE IT. Would highly recommend.

If you need software to manage your materials inventory, create recipes from those materials for your products to estimate cost of products, and have the materials automatically deducted from your inventory when you sell a product on shopify, you will need the $1200 / year plan. CB have turned a basic function off to force you to upgrade if you want materials deducted automatically when a product sells. I have had to upgrade two times since joining CB to get what I see as very basic functions.

To clarify for anyone reading: the feature you're referring to is called Auto-Manufactures, which is available on our Indie+ and above plans. This feature automatically creates manufacture records when orders are imported, which in turn deducts materials from inventory based on your recipes. We totally get that this kind of automation can feel like a core feature, especially as your business grows. Many makers start with manual workflows and move up to Auto-Manufactures as things get busier — that’s why we offer finished stock tracking and manual manufacture options on all plans, so you can still manage inventory without automation if you prefer. That said, we always want our pricing and features to feel fair and transparent, so your feedback is really helpful as we continue to improve.
