This app slowing down my website and creating unresponsive js files so my website speed going down It doesnt even work

I have a problem, my Remarketing ad on Google Ads stoped working because Google Ads needs Concent V2. So I tried to fix this by installing a Shopify App Privacy & Compliance. This had a bad effect in 14 days our sessions dropped to -50% immediately. And our Meta and Google Ads ROAS dropped also. I deleted the App after 14 days. What can I do to fix this?

Don't waste your time, it doesn't work apart from setting it up where it does look OK, very limited but OK. The Banner itself, won't even show up.

I installed app and made cookie banner active. However, cookie banner wasn't displaying. Two long painful chats with Shopify support...and I learn that this app only shows the banner to users with EU IPs. Why doesn't it work in the USA? What am I missing?!

The app look great and have all the options we need in a well integrated manner... but it don't show up on mobile browsers on the canadian market. After lenghty exchanges with Shopify assistance, no solution in sight... except looking for another app.

No matter how many times I press accept, the banner keeps coming back every time I go to another page or product.

As others state. This is really hopeless. In my shop it wouldn't even show up - and the supporter on live chat gave me some really hopeless suggestions that I just wrote that I already tried. Also - the app does not offer the ability to re-open the cookie bar for the user - which is required in some countries.

Useless if you are in the US selling to the US. No mention of this until taking the time to install.

Ne fonctionne pas ! C'est bien dommage parce que c'est obligatoire. On a beau chercher, impossible de faire fonctionner cette application.

I honestly can't tell if this app does literally anything. The banner doesn't appear in any way, shape, or form, even after trying to preview it. I haven't seen it on any browser, even if I'm using incognito mode. I've tried many different settings and configurations, but nothing seems to change. Also the opt-out aspect doesn't seem to do anything. It simply generates a page with opt-out info, no actual way to opt-out of data collection. Am I missing something here, or is this app 100% useless?

The app gives no option to translate the banner, which makes it not good for an European Market. The design was nice, but such a basic feature missing really destroys the usefulness of it.

Popup banner and "Remove / Save Preference" feature don't work at all! Please inform me if the bugs being fixed, then I'll change the review! Hope Shopify team can fix it asap!!

Horrific experience. Terrible app. Absolutely ZERO support. Waste of time. I’ve submitted various help requests and nobody has called me back except for a general customer support person who only offered the following advice “reboot” or “check your internet connection” as if I’m an idiot who hasn’t done all those things first before I submitted various help requests to escalate my request to a developer. My request for developer help has been completely disregarded. Then I got the advice of “maybe ask a relative?” I was like…HUH?? Who’s running the ship over there these days, kindergartners? I’m close to just going to another web host. Shopify’s customer support is non-existent.

Absolutely pointless if you want to have a multi lingual store. Was told by Shopify support that this integrated perfectly with Shopify's new native "Translate & Adapt" app. No it does not.
