It seems like the functionality would work, but there is no cart level option for the pre-order, only on a product specific basis. It didn't serve me needs because of this.

Wow! The customer support alone is worth using this app. Diana and Denis have helped us think through resolutions for our specific use case, which is taking partial payments for group trips on a travel site. Our main sticking point was needing to be able to set a specific date for the remaining payment to be made that wasn't tied to the original purchase date. DownPay has solved that issue! The app isn't overly engineered, and the integration and training process has been streamlined and simple. We tried multiple other apps before landing on DownPay. I would definitely recommend this app!

Diana and her team are amazing. They are super responsive to any and all questions and are really on top of things. The app works amazing as well! I was looking for an app to get a partial payment up front and have the customer pay the remaining later (basically a deposit system) and Downpay does just that. If you need an app to handle the deposit for you look no further!

Great app! The developers have thought about every little detail. I'm using this app to avoid using the traditional and expensive Buy Now Pay Later services - those take a high percentage cut from your revenues. Just make sure you collect the final payment before you ship the item! Amazing customer service. Diana was able to answer all my questions in a timely manner and even hopped onto my site to take a look when I needed help. Diana even taped a video for me on how to use Downpay for my specific needs. I highly recommend Downpay!

We have a very in-depth custom order page that pulls a lot of different items together to build out a custom bicycle. We needed a 50% deposit option to help cover our initial costs to start sourcing parts and materials depending on the exact build. There were some initial issues with the interfacing, but the team at Downpay were very helpful and figured out a solution to make sure it worked exactly the way we needed it to. We are very grateful for their excellent customer service and expertise.

I just started the Downpay trial for a client site a few days ago. Most of the features are pretty straight forward and intuitive. We were trying to do some automation so we contacted support. Diana was extremely helpful and walked me through the process. The team also spent time listening to our business needs, and actually helped us tweak the app. We highly recommend Downpay for anyone who sells products that have higher prices or in need of charging deposits and wanting some control.

The app is easy to navigate and setup. Any questions we had in setting it up were quickly answered by Diana. It made us feel really confident in using the app on our site. In addition, when we launched Diana took extra time and effort with us to make some custom tweaks so that the app worked and appeared even better on the site. We highly recommend the app to anyone who sells a custom product with long lead times. It made taking deposits a snap!

We are so glad we found this app at the last minute before we launched our new pre-order. It provided the option to accept deposits for each order and we had the option to do it as a percentage or a fix amount. Diana has been absolutely fabulous about reverting on questions we had but more importantly their team jumped in to assist with setup since our store had a legacy theme which required some additional tweaks.

Without a doubt fantastic. We have been wanting this feature for a LONG time and were doing it painfully by hand via invoicing. We have high priced items that are handcrafted to order, so it can take a long time between purchase and receipt of the purchase, so we feel good knowing we haven't held all of the customer's money for the entire time. I know I sound like spam but... forget the Affirm installments - use this app! We ditched Affirm due to high fees and this was such a breath of fresh air. Diana took time to video chat with us on all the features, and has been incredibly responsive on emails with questions. We had it pre Shopify 2.0 for a few weeks, and her team installed it beautifully on both that and as a dynamic feature set on the 2.0 theme. Seriously wonderful people and excellent app.

This app is amazing. We started in the BETA version with all the support we needed from the developers. We came up with ideas and also some design issues and the service was beyond all expectations. The results are there. We have more online conversions than we ever expected. Try this out!

Donna and her team have been such a great help! Quick response I want to say within minutes to any questions or issues you may have. For a while, I have been looking for a downpayment service but could not find just the right one for my page. Finally Downpay, was such a great move for my company. I have more bookings for my workshops all thanks to have a feature at checkout to pay later. Very simple to set up!
