The aesthetic of this app is simply beautiful, and initially, it seemed to integrate well with Shopify. However, I am giving it 2 stars because of a few significant issues. First, the communication time for customer support varies widely. While the app advertises 24-hour chat support, this claim is misleading since response times often take hours and sometimes even days. Second, the pricing plans are quite expensive for SMS, especially for fewer than 100 contacts. This issue is compounded by the fact that you can't use all of your own imported contact information. I imported my email and phone numbers from a previous list but was told some of the numbers couldn’t be used. Lastly, canceling your subscription is overly complicated. You cannot cancel it yourself; instead, you have to wait for customer service to respond to your email request, which can take a frustrating amount of time. While the design and initial integration are strong, these shortcomings significantly impact the user experience.

I installed this app after seeing a YouTube influencer’s recommendation, but it's been a huge disappointment. First, once you start subcription, all series will automatically be on but there’s no option to pause some of them, which is really inconvenient. I already have a pop-up set up, but this app forces you to use their pop-up, which isn’t aesthetically pleasing. When I initially tried to pause the series, it wouldn’t work. I reached out to support, but instead of addressing the issue or listening to my needs, they insisted I use their pop-up instead of my own. After several emails (with long response times), the support team still refused to help me pause the series until I mentioned canceling my subscription—only then did they offer assistance. Even after that, about a month later, the series suddenly started displaying on my website again, despite showing as paused, which is a really frustrating bug. This experience with their support has been the worst I’ve had with any Shopify app. Most support teams I’ve interacted with have been helpful and attentive, but this was completely the opposite. I recommend looking into other options, as there are plenty of apps out there with better functionality and support.

EngageMe is a life saver. Best app to send out email marketing and great in-app features that helps grow your business. For instance, pop-ups, Rewards systems, notify when stock is available, and much more. And their tech support is very responsive and quick to perform. Highly recommend.

Started using this app just a couple days ago and so far I can say I'm very satisfy with how the app works! very easy to set up and start using. I wish more app like this in the Shopify app store. great work team EngageMessage!
