This app was literally so helpful considering Shopify doesn't include this functionality as default, which is crazy. The fact the developers also made this free, where they could easily capitalise off it - makes it even better.

Absolutely brilliant app. In 2022 you can't mass download or upload files to a Shopify store, so when you're cloning a theme you lose any media that is used from the Files location in the Settings. Doesn't matter if you're paying $2k a month or nothing - Shopify thinks you should have to download and upload every file on your website one by one... The only thing this app misses is an ability to upload files in bulk, using a ZIP file, but it doesn't sell itself as doing that so can't be too critical.

Incredible! We updated our background color - which made it obvious which photos didn't have transparent backgrounds. So, we needed to download all of our photos to remove the backgrounds from the ones that needed it. While I believe this needs to be a feature that Shopify builds in directly (along with a bunch of other features that shouldn't require paid apps), it was refreshing to stumble across this free app that did exactly what I needed it to do. Download this app if you need your files for any reason, you won't regret it.

AWESOME, downloaded 1.5GB shopify site in 5 minutes. All possible issues that would prevent the app from working seem to have been resolved by the developer.

As the first review said: "Thanks so much for making an app to do what Shopify should be doing for us as an included part of their platform!". It's such an obvious function that should be available by default in Files, but I had to go searching for solutions, and eventually found on the forums that Filey had launched just couple of days ago. For me, it worked perfectly with one click - 5 stars for functionality! However, I didn't like the fact that app wants access to store owner contact info. So functionality 5 stars, privacy 0, but still, thank you very much to the developer! :)
