After much research, I selected Flyweight for my online store. It offers the best pricing and features above their competitors.

The app and AI is very good. But their extra fees are a bit much for me. I spend a lot on ads and making viral content, some content gets millions of views, and that traffic shows up on my site. And Flyweight gets paid if I drive traffic to my site???? It does not make sense. Honestly, even with thousands of visitors a day I'd get 2-5 AI questions so it's not like everyone was engaging with the chat. Some holidays I'll get 100K visitors a day and I see no reason to pay FlyWeight for this. I canceled and moved on. Otherwise the app worked well.

Game changer for our CX team. We integrated Flyweight across our Shopify Plus store and the impact was immediate — faster response times, fewer tickets hitting our human agents, and customers actually getting helpful answers. The AI handles product questions, order status, and routine inquiries without feeling robotic. Setup was straightforward and the team has been responsive whenever we've needed support. If you're running a DTC brand at scale and looking to elevate your customer experience without ballooning headcount, this is it.

Sometimes the AI is not right or at least not 100% right or talks about things the AI should not have been talking about by giving unneeded info. Sound bad he! But actually not so, because this is a matter of fine tuning with the tools we have available and these issues amounts for a very small percentage of the chats so far. The majority of the chats are just amazing, they blow away my mind completely, the AI is way better then me in many respects: 1. The mount of knowledge it has is going beyond mine: we sell close to everything relating to coffee and the amount of different espresso machines and grinders can be overwhelming for customer. The AI is so able to help the customer navigate through all the different models, functionality and taste wise. 2. Unlimited patience: the customers who do use the chats sometimes spend 2 hours with the chat, something I would never have the time and energy for. I had even a customer (forward to me via email) and complained that the AI bot was far more kind then me, hehe! so yes, I am actually learning from the AI how to respond, isn't it that funny? The quality of the AI is very much depending on the team behind it, how they are able to fine tune the AI and give the tools so I can do some fine tuning as well. In this respect I think I found to right (Flyweight) team. Lastly: about the subscription model: The first 2 levels (Started and Pro) are based on the amount of traffic a site is getting: Right now we use Pro. The next level is called AI leader and probably soon we move over to that level because it is not based on traffic but on the amount of AI answers it is giving: 1000 included. Yes it is USD 99 but instead of looking at it as an expensive app (not so comparaed with some competitor apps) I now start to look at it as a cheap employee from which i can learn. and I forgot to mention: Some competitor apps link the subscription model to which and how many pages are scanned and used for the AI. For me there is no point: The AI needs to be as accurate as possible no matter what kind of subscription you are using. Flyweight is using all data from your site and even from products not on your site. This is the best solution
